“"Forget me not" may be somewords we associate with death. To come to this place is to associate the lives of our departed loved ones with something far more valuable then gold or silver: homage. Come here to clear your mind, allow the stories of each individual incite curiosity and remorse, and all the while find that in these places a kind of tranquility exists in a near perfect state of equiibrium. Aside from the scenerais and empitaphs the mosuliume is grand for the area and has a fine place to enjoy religious art while utilizing the quite and enclosed area as a spot for contemplation.”

College Corner Cemetery

“I have several family members buried in this cemetery. It is always very well taken care of and looks so nice. Today I read the following article in College Corner Talk and I pray this will not be allowed... "Guys, depending on how drunk I am on Monday morning, I’ll be at the cemetery drinking for my fallen brothers in arms. Yes, I’m a combat vet and take this day seriously. If you come out at 10am, and if you want to tell a story about your lost loved one, please just speak up or at least let me know. I will calm the crowd so that people can speak. I do not have friends in this cemetery, but I’ll be spilling a drink to each veteran tombstone that I see there. I have gloriously fallen brothers. That doesn’t matter. I will drink to anyone I don’t know who has fallen. (FYI: Of someone brings a flask, please know that I may need your help to get ho me.)" I love and respect all veterans but I don't want someone spilling alcohol on my families graves who are veterans. So I hope while folks are there during this holiday you will not let this person disrespect our families graves”

Milton Fields Natural Burial Grounds

Address: 1150 Birmingham Rd, Milton, GA 30004, USA

Cemetery

“Our son recently passed (26). Traditional cemeteries did not seem right and the funeral home suggested Milton Fields. We felt at ease from the first visit. It is well cared for, and the natural setting is peaceful. The funeral went smoothly even though we had many friends and family come to the gravesite. Families are allowed to plant a Dogwood tree on the property, and are invited to visit any time during daylight hours. We ended up purchasing additional plots to be buried with him.”

“The Garver Family recently had to let our Mom go to her father. Mom requested cremation and a small service. Mom visited Covington Memorial often, which is where her biological father is buried. Our family set down with Kayla and Eric to discuss what my Mom's wishes were and the best way to accomplish them. Kayla and Eric's compassion, wit, humor, and professionalism were above and beyond. The pricing for all of the services that we purchased were extremely reasonable. Communications with Kayla and Eric leading up to the service was impressive and responsive. The night of the service, Eric stayed late just to say Hi, and pay his respects to our Mom. Kayla stayed late as our service pushed past our expected end time with no hesitation. The facility was setup for the service, and was clean and orderly. It was the perfect atmosphere for my Mom and our family. Overall our family could not be more pleased with the service, attention to detail, compassion, and services of Covington Memorial Funeral Home. We will all at one point need services that Covington Memorial offers, and for our family it was perfect. A huge shout out to Kayla and Eric for a job well done, thank you. Lance”

“We went to Restland Memorial last week to find the graves of some of my relatives. The lady who worked there was working very hard because they were having two funerals that morning, which were about to start. She still took the time to look up the names of the people we were looking for, and helped us know which parts of the cemetery they were located in. After a few minutes of our looking for the first set of people, she came out to us and wanted to make sure we were able to find who we were looking for.”
