They allowed elderly to shop in the morning for 1 hour exclusively before fully opening. Dollar General and it's staff have really come through for people in this area who need supplies. “I went here to get some vaccinations. It was one of the only pharmacies in town for Tricare who had an appointment available. I had never been there. What a pleasant surprise! Every single employee on the floor greeted all customers, smiled and asked if they could help. The pharmacy was very busy, yet extremely friendly, had a positive attitude, was professional and working very hard. Customers were courteous too and mindful of those who might be immune compromised. The store is clean and well organized. Management is doing something good here and I'm a new fan.”

“I bought two boxes of instant grits because of the sign on the shelf that promised a $2 off 2 savings with the digital coupon. I couldn't find the coupon in the app, so I took a picture of the same tag and showed it to the cashier as I was checking out. She didn't know why it wasn't in the app and called the manager over. Manager said if it's not in the app, there's nothing they can do. I asked if they could do a manual entry since they were advertising the discount. The manager begrudgingly lowered the item price as a price match and sent the cashier to pull the tag from the shelf. I stepped away to look at my receipt when the cashier returned with the tag and again commented how it was odd that I had purchased the right products during the listed sale dates and yet no coupon appeared. The manager commented, "Whatever makes her happy." Seriously? Why do I have to ask you to honor your own advertising?”

“They need to update their hours, because whenever certain employees are working they choose to close from 2:30-3:30am which is beyond inconvenient. And just so you know do you don't waste your time. It's the blue camaro that will be parked out front. So annoying. It's interesting that when other employees are working they don't close from 2:30-3:30... And because there are two workers I don't understand why the close is necessary. Now that this keeps happening I'm going to contact the store manager and advise them of how much business they are loosing when only these certain employees are working. 1-24-19 update. although they still have those really weird hour of being closed in the morning I have now changed my schedule to ensure that I am getting gas at night, since then I've had a very pleasurable experience. They have a new woman working who is very very friendly, and quick and efficient.”

“Aug 2023: Nice clean bathrooms. Staff is nice & friendly. The Burger King connected is clean & staff is nice. BUT the bees are bad. We parked by the side door (that is closed off to men working) & the bees were everywhere. 6 bees came in the van & was all over the kids. We moved the van to get gas & my husband got attacked by 3 of them while pumping. One flew under my shirt which was not fun. I definitely would say if you are allergic to bees be very cautious here.”

“Love the staff except after a year of no problems with my service dog, I was suddenly told I had to provide proof and that he has to wear identification. That is not the law. Only two questions are allowed. Quoting from the ada.gov site “When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task.” I am disabled and my dog has a specific duty of picking up things I drop.
