“This is one of the last remaining independently owned funeral chapels. They were very attentive and very helpful from the beginning to the end of our planning and our service. They guided us every step away and were helpful and unobtrusive as we welcomed our guests. They got us all safely down to the national cemetery for our military funeral. They helped us make arrangements for lunch afterward with our guests. In all we felt that they were very supportive, kind, and attentive to every need. This is the second funeral our family has had at the Humenik Funeral Chapel. They made everything easy for us.”

My mother had been to a funeral at Guardian Funeral home in the past; however it was my first time there. That was the BEST decision we could have made. Marc Sr help us initially, you can definitely tell this is his family owned business and that he takes much pride in it!!! We were then handed over in the care of Thomas Pena. Words cannot describe how amazing he was. He is very understanding, and it is very easy to see he has such a passion for what he does! He has such a calming demeanor and he is well versed. Thank you to the entire Guardian team for making my father’s funeral so special, especially Thomas!”

Coker Funeral Home

Address: 403 Pecan St, Sanger, TX 76266, USA

Funeral home

“We buried our Grandmother yesterday and Mr. Coker couldn't have been kinder. I'm not one to write many reviews but I felt I had to this time. The service at the cemetery was at 11am and the heat was terrible. Mr. Coker and his staff were so thoughtful and brought cold water bottles for everyone. That poor man stood in the blazing sun and would not come under the canopy out of respect for our family. We finally got him to cool off with some water but we couldn't get him to take off his suit jacket to cool off. Also, they made my grandmother look absolutely beautiful. They truly are artists and helped make this sad experience more bearable. We could not have been happier with their attention and courtesy.”

Quincy Memorials Inc

Funeral home Cemetery

“When you lose someone, your world stops and you function somehow, but only out of necessity. When my husband left us at the end of October, I entered a state of suspended animation which was exacerbated by the fact that “the Holidays” were so soon upon us. I floated through these in a haze and only started dealing with the loss in early February. It was then that I realized that all the plans that I had been making for Jim’s 75th Birthday in May could be no longer. Not only a birthday, but a special one and I had been working on plans to outshine his 70th. Instead, I was picturing us sitting that day, alone and in mourning mode. This was not right!!! It was a day to celebrate Jim and all that he had meant to us. What could I do? Then it came to me, we could celebrate Jim in a special way by making the installation of his marker a celebration of all that he had been and would continue to be in our lives. I found that this was easier said than done. The average production time was six months, and I did not have that amount of time. Our funeral director put me in touch with Ann Hefner at Quincy Memorial. She agreed that it would be very difficult but was as determined as I to make it work. I don’t know how much time she invested in calls to locate my ideal marker, a bench, which was already constructed. After achieving this major feat, she connected me with Jamie McGregor who converted my rather involved and somewhat obscure design into reality. Several phone calls later the design was approved and sent to Brian who would do the engraving. I do not know how they managed to do six months work in three but on May 16th we gathered at Holy Family Cemetery to view “Jim’s perfect bench” participate in a touching and consoling ceremony by Father Hickey and celebrate the man who had been my husband for almost forty years. I highly recommend Quincy Memorial for not only their excellent product and design skills but for the kindness and consideration that they extend to those of us who are dealing with grief and a need for our own style of excellence.”

C Richard Mc Cauley Funeral

Address: 101 S 4th St, Youngwood, PA 15697, USA

Funeral home

“CR and his team were incredible to my family during a very difficult and sad time. He gave us multiple pricing options and I don’t feel he tried to sell us anything more than what we wanted for my grandfather. He was available via phone call and text any time we had questions, needed to send him info, etc. The viewing and funeral service were very professional while still having a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for my family members. They had everything set up so beautifully at the cemetery as well. We also had a similar positive experience with them with the passing of another family member last year. I truly can’t think of anything I would’ve wanted that they didn’t provide to us. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”
