“I am so happy I found Angelica! Being somewhat new to Carson City, I didn't know where to go. So I read most of the online reviews. There are around 60 hair salons in Carson City. Absolute Hair had the best reviews, and after seeing the results of my two-color highlight today, I have to agree. Angelica was so welcoming. When I booked my appointment on a Friday for the following Monday, she gave me her cell phone number just in case I needed to call her over the weekend, when she is closed (or sees clients by appointment only). She told me to do some research and bring in pics on my phone of hair colors and styles I wanted. When I arrived Monday, Angelica recommended that I leave some of my gray hair in so I wouldn't have that "skunk" look when my roots grow out. This is great, as I can grow it out longer without having to do root touch-ups again and again every month. Of course, you still have to go back to maintain your color, but I appreciate Angelica's tip. Angelica also didn't try to sell me any hair products, like most salons do. She doesn't sell any in her shop. This is good, as then I don't get the hard sell to buy. She told me what I could buy for low cost at many stores here. (Hint: you need to buy shampoo that is advertised for colored hair or as sulfate-free. Conditioner does not matter.) Also, she told me not to wash my hair for a day so the color sets in. Angelica only see clients by appointment, as do most good salons. She has a loyal following of both men and women. I know...I sound like a walking advertisement for her business, but she is that good!! I can't tell you how ecstatic I am. After years of having gray hair, I finally feel good about myself!”

Both of the stylists we have used Marie and Diana are very experienced and professional. The owner takes pride in her business. At my most recent appointment there was a slight problem and the owner went out of her way to not only diffuse the situation but to validate me as a customer while maintaining complete professionalism. After looking through some local shops I stumbled across Sids Barber Shop and decided to see if they would be able to squeeze him in last minute.
