“It was a really great experience and a great shop. The staff was friendly and inviting. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I was asked if I wanted a beer, said "sure" and when I was almost done with it I was informed the beer would cost ten dollars. I did wonder if it would cost me, but nothing was initially said and the vibe felt like it was complimentary... but even if it wasn't I figured maybe 5 bucks at the most. Ultimately, it didn't bother me too much but it wasn't my favorite thing. Still tipped well and the cost of the full service was very reasonable.”

She matches your energy in the appointment, if you are excited she will share fun stories and if you need to mellow out she can sense it and give you the space you need. I first went in for a wax emergency appointment and now I am a regular. I just tried eyelash extensions and they look amazing. I cannot wait to try teeth whitening next. She doesn't push services, and is all about educating on health and taking care of yourself. As a mom I truly appreciate the late hours she offers so I can sneak out after my girl goes to bed. She offers a stamp card and also the cutest goody bags with products for after care. I can't rave enough about her!”

“My bridesmaids and I were looking for a closeby salon to get our nails done before the wedding- and what a great find! This salon is walking distance from the Lakehouse and a great option for wedding party pampering! We walked in, with no appointment, about an hour before closing and we were happily greeted. The staff was so friendly, they even gave us candy shots to celebrate later! I'm writing this review not only because of my positive experience, but because it's been a month and my nails still look awesome! My gels have not lifted or chipped . . . It's been 4 weeks! I get my nails done often and have never had such a great gel manicure before. The only reason I haven't had them taken off is because I'm curious how long they will hold up! And because I don't live in the area and have to find another salon :( Thank you for the great service Lake San Marcos Salon!!”

I’m pretty glad they opened a barber shop inside the mall. Need a cut after work? No problem, go here! I know how uneasy going to a new barber is - being skeptical at first and whatnot.
