“I can’t say enough about NeoLife in BSL! I begin seeing them 2 weeks post op from a total right knee replacement at the age of 60. Rehabbing the knee was much more difficult than my hip. Justin, Tyler, Jason and Devin were always supportive and encouraging even when I had crying spells. They celebrated my milestones with me and kept pushing and encouraging. I spent 4 months with them working hard in and out of their office. I was thrilled my final results! The week after I finished I walk/ran the Bay Bridge, went on a 2 week European vacation and walked an average of 15,000 steps a day with no issues. Once she established that I was a new patient and what i needed to be seen for, she gathered my insurance information, scheduled my appointment, and gave me some instructions regarding an email she was sending me with paperwork to fill out. On the day of my appointment, I saw a physical therapist named Melissa - she was very professional and very knowledgeable about my condition. “Dr. Yancey, I was in 5th grade when I first came to you as a patient. I had a “significant curve” in my back. Enough for a back brace. I was devastated. I spent my 6th and 7th grade years wearing a brace. By the time I was 13, I needed surgery. I had a 58 degree curve in my spine. I was terrified. I felt like I wasted my time by wearing the brace. Little did I know, it was preventing my scoliosis from getting worse. Anyway, surgery of course sucked, BUT—I am almost 35 years old and I have zero issues with my back! My spine is straight, I’ve had 3 kids, and I am capable of anything! I am happy of my knowledge of scoliosis because I noticed a curve in my son's back.
