“why does this hospital have such a low rating? wow, my experience was awesome. I was passing a kidney stone, unbeknownst to me, and they took amazing care of me. I was seen quickly on a quiet Wed evening, the nurse Janet was so caring, funny and helpful, and Dr Singh was kind and very good. The CT scan guy was nice and friendly and professional too. And I'll tell ya - that IV they gave me pushed that kidney stone through the worst part and now I feel so much better! They put my Rx through that evening for me to pickup the next day, which went fine, and gave me some pills to tide me over for that evening. All in all, a great place, and such a humanizing experience compared to NYC hospitals. The difference is staggering.”

On a couple of occasions, he has assisted with setting up my Dad’s entertainment system and even went above and beyond to learn how to install a product he was unfamiliar with in order to provide satisfactory help and complete the setup. Shawn is always pleasurable and professional. Being in a rehabilitation facility can be tough and sometimes boredom and negative mindset can slow progress in a patient. Having items that can assist with positive experiences can booster the patient’s mental will to recoup. “I went in via ambulance and needed to stay overnight on IV and heart monitor. The doctors, nurses, and paramedics made sure I was in good health, and were very kind to me. I felt very safe and cared for, which was a first in a while because I live alone. The nurse that did my blood work and IV was amazing, no pain at all. Went in at 7pm and was gone by 11am. It made me sad to see how often the staff here get yelled at. Obviously the emergency room wait time is pretty long but you have to understand they will treat the most urgent patients first.”
