“The staff at Norman Regional HealthPlex are always courteous and kind. I have never had a bad experience here yet! Today I needed bloodwork ran when I checked in Ken greeted me with a smile, took my paper work, and gave me a buzzer. Then my buzzer went off to tell me someone needed to see me which was Sandi in the business office so she could accept my copay and check me into the hospital. Very nice lady willing to explain everything and help me with my paperwork for insurance and my FSA plan. After I finish there I went back for a short wait and Jennifer B came out to get me for my bloodwork. Exceptionally nice as well and very gentle I might add. I am blessed with the worst veins you could get, she did it the first time with no problems and no pain. I always have the best experience at Norman Regional HealthPlex I cannot imagine going anywhere else for any other hospital needs. I will also tell you I am also in the medical field and I’m very critical of personnel. Total time maybe an hour and that was with no appointment. They all 3 need some praise !!!!!! “My father was brought into the ER when he stopped breathing and suffered cardiac arrest. The ER staff was amazingly supportive and straight forward in explaining that although his pulse and breathing restarted at the hospital, that his prognosis was grim. In the ICU his nurse Karen was as kind and supportive to us as anyone could be. She spoke to him by name as she cared for him. Stroked his hair and supported our grief as we said goodbye. Your Critical Care doctor ( I am sorry I do. It remember his name ) was kind and gentle in letting us know that my dad could not recover from this. For 12 hours he was kept comfortable and when he passed away it was peaceful. Your staff let us grieve and say our goodbyes. This was the worst day of my life— but your wonderful doctors and nurses made it bearable with their support. Thank you to each and every one of them”
