“I love it here! The smell of books (and the large collection of books to choose from), the movies you can choose from, plus if you get a bad disc, when you bring it back, they try cleaning it & fixing it on the spot. If not, they order a new copy so you can finish the movie when it comes in. Everyone is so friendly & helpful, I look forward to going back!”

“Very nice place. You can tell the people who work here, really care. My wife and I went to research something and ended up staying a few hours. They had a display about amusement parks in and around Pittsburgh. Very neat. I really enjoyed checking it out. We even got our library cards. LoL.”

“For this being one of the smaller libraries in Anoka County it seems to have a really good selection of materials. This library is part of the system which allows me to obtain anything as long as another library in the system has the item I want to borrow. One of the main features is the ability to request items to be placed in a pick up locker which allows me to get the item at anytime, even when the library is closed.”

“Middlesex Library has the most awesome 2 lady librarians in the whole Braswell Library system. They are knowledgeable, attentive and posess outgoing personalities with the public. The world would be a better place if all employees were as kind as these two ladies. Lol lol lol”

“Documenting the town’s past, the New Canaan Historical Society (founded 1889) owns or operates eight museums and historic buildings, most of which are located at the society’s campus on Oenoke Ridge. Of all the society’s properties, only the Little Red School House and the Gores Pavilion (more below) are off campus. At the main location you can check out exhibitions expertly curated from the society’s massive collections, and get a taste of life in New Canaan in days gone by at the Rock Schoolhouse (1799), Cody Drug Store (1845), the Town House (1825), the Hanford-Silliman House (c. 1764), the Rogers Sculpture Studio (1878) and the Tool Museum and Printing Office. The main exhibit in summer 2019 was “Shoes”, with 200 pairs helping to map out the shoemaking industry in New Canaan, which flourished for more than a century.”

“This is a really wonderful place to find some quiet time and cozy up with a good book. There are lots of clean and comfortable spaces to read, work, or use the computer. The library has quite an extensive book selection and I am impressed by their array of DVDs, CDs, and even video games! They are committed to having something for everyone and it proves to be a fantastic asset to our community in Mount Kisco.”

“This library has ample space to read on a couch, sit down at a table to get some work done, or browse the thousands of books they offer. There are probably a good 10-12 tables available with plenty of outlets if you need to work on a laptop. Or, if you need a quieter space they also have two private study rooms available. The librarians are very helpful and I would highly suggest stopping by this Tulsa Library location.”

“While this liibrary doesn't have a lot of books, it does have a lot of cool technology like a laser etcher and 3D printers. The contrast between the high tech equipment housed in a renovated building dating back to the mid 1800s is also pretty neat. The staff is always super helpful and friendly, too!”

“Beautiful library in a converted, historic school building from 1930. Hard wood floors, lots of windows. Good book selection. The staff is VERY NICE and helpful. Computer room with plenty of computers. Free WIFI. Children's section. Activities for children. Love it when the rabbits are there during the school year and they can be held. Meeting room is available and can be reserved. Free popcorn on Fridays.”

“I have been bringing my kids to this library for almost 17 years. They are wonderful with kids of all ages. Cindy reads to the younger kids in the park in the summer and it is just wonderful. She’s so animated and keeps the kids engaged. She picks fun themes and has all kinds of props and music. My teenaged son plays Dungeons and Dragons with friends which is put on by the library from time to time. I have even joined some ladies to knit/crochet by the corner fireplace. Something for everyone!”
