“Have been here twice and have loved it. Once tent caning but most recently with my trailer on a tent site and it was spacious. I will say it was the last one available so we got the handicap spot which may be bigger than usual. No direct hook up but there is water fill up and dump station (extra $10 to dump). Hosts were really nice and helpful. Love how close it is to the lake with walking/bike paths. There are plenty of trees around for good shade (and beautiful). Bathrooms were clean and place was pretty quiet. Will most likely come back again.”

“The campground very well taken care of. Very clean bathrooms, I saw them at the worst, totally different when I was there last. Golfing right down the road, fishing and swimming. I gave a 4 star, would love showers on site, peaceful, small campground. I highly recommend camping there.”

“Great park full of diverse spaces for all ages to get their recreation on! We saw an advanced baseball game being played on one field, youth soccer on another, and tennis courts with active games in another area. In addition, the playground is in good shape and there is plenty of room for multiple birthday parties around the fields. Bathroom facilities were also in nicer condition than I had expected and experienced at other parks around the neighborhood. My daughter was also thrilled there was a fruit vendor in the park :) We will definitely be returning!”

“Great venue for a party. Has a kitchen with a stove and sink, private bathrooms, and a playground. All was very clean. Set in it's own little meadow so you have great privacy. We had 25 people and felt like we used just under half of the available seating space. It's nice you get it for the whole day so set up/tear down aren't rushed. Adequate and close/accessible parking. For us it was a perfect setting for a kids birthday party during Covid that allowed for the needed amenities while affording open air and plenty of spacing. Covid or not, this will be our go to for future outdoor parties.”

“This is a great state park located in close proximity to Atlanta. For just a $5 parking fee, you can take a car full of people out and enjoy a day in nature. Make sure to check out the ruins and spend some time by the water. The views are definitely worth the hike!”

There was a nice little wooden playground, splash pad, swimming pool, a fire pit with seats. It had nice grass and some hills the kids loved playing on. Super clean with bathrooms. There's isn't a negative. Loved it.”

“I give this small park 5 stars because of location for launching your kayak. It starts off with a narrow channel and opens up into Dryman Bay. No facilities, just a small parking lot, picnic table and a kayak launch. If fishing is your thing, this spot is sweet. The channel is narrow, which had an excellent current with the tide. Plenty of structure, docks, mangroves and the depth drops off quickly in the channel. Great fishing spot. There some mangrove islands out in Dryman Bay and the turning bridge at Blackburn isn't far, just a few paddles to the north. Plenty of wildlife, boaters, kayakers and fish! Great day on the water. 🐊🐬”
