“I really enjoyed this trail, and found it incredibly challenging, but that might have been because the weather was 80° on the day I went. There's lots of lose rocks and pretty steep inclines at certain points so it's definitely a hike you want to wear good shoes for and don't expect a leisurely stroll through the woods. There's also several side hikes and at times the trails aren't marked so gps is helpful.”

“Beautiful lights, friendly volunteers, well-marked route, warm cafe (live music when we were there!)... it was a wonderful experience! I recommend two loops to catch little details that can be missed the first time through. Great for kids and for adults.”

“I love coming to this park, it has several trails that wind through the forest. Great if you want to take a walk in nature. Also I've never seen too many people here at one time so you can usually get some good peace and quiet in the forest!”

“This park has some new equipment and is still being worked on, but the grass is all mowed, it's clean (with minimal graffiti) , and an overall good park in Clark county. They are working on remultching the play areas too! So after all the work I think it'll be the best park in the county”

“Although it is sooo hot and the shade spots are slim, I think this is a great place to have a fun afternoon with the kids. Or even your dog. Or maybe especially your dog because there is an extravagant dog park fully furnished for the everyday lazy bones dog or for your Olympic games winning champion dog lol they really went the extra mile there. So from the kids park, dog park, to the creek there is a bunch of potenial here. If only you know how to see it. 🪄🧙😉”

“Camelot Ridge Resort provides a great hunting trip for hunters and their families. They have comfortable well-appointed lodging, fantastic food, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. The deer in the preserve are spectacular and there are many ways to keep a family entertained and out in nature together. I became aware of Doug McCombs Camelot Ridge Resort while watching a Ted Nugent hunting video on TV. Ted’s producer and sales manager for Camelot Ridge is none other than Dave Watson. I looked up the website and called Dave for more information. Following this Dave and I set up a vacation package for me, my wife Pauline and our daughter, Liz, her husband Matt and their twin 8 year old sons with Liz and I hunting. Dave was very accommodating. The Non-hunting members of the party had wonderful accommodations in the lodge including two separate lounge areas, an audio/visual room, game rooms, etc., all adorned with Doug’s many trophies and various collections of boat motors, hunting bows, duck stamps, etc. Doug even took the twins fishing one afternoon. All of the staff did a superb and friendly job taking care of us and are committed to providing everything the guests wanted. The hunt turned out to be rather difficult, as for some reason the deer were just not moving. Maybe because it had turned very cold? I’ve been on several “unsuccessful” hunts in the past and they are not very “restful”. In this case since Doug’s policy is no kill/no pay I found myself very relaxed as we went into the last day of hunting. After an unsuccessful hunt on the morning of the third and final day Doug decided to abandon the heated blinds and do spot and stalk. This proved successful and both my daughter and I got beautiful bucks that afternoon. The size and quality of the deer hunting is beyond imagination with excellent and very helpful guides, blinds, food plots, etc. We highly recommend Camelot Ridge as an ideal family vacation spot which caters to a wide range of interests, albeit somewhat unique. A hunt like this is not inexpensive but when you consider you can drive to it from many locations in the East, saving significant airline cost and hassle. Plus in-field and butchering costs were included. Also, the ability to take the raw trophy and meat home avoided significant shipping cost.”

“Solid park & playground to let the kids get some fresh air and run around. The fenced in parts of the playground fence won't actually keep the kids in as there are some gaps or open gate but enough to slow them down as you see them. Also huge playing fields, basketball court and tennis courts there too.”

“Beautiful leaf walk Bellefontaine Cemetery! We learned a ton of things. 🍁 Urban Chestnut got their logo from the horse chestnut tree 🌰 Washu‘s founder is located in the Bellefontaine Cemetery 🎓 We found Thornton Grimsley who named Grimsley’s Folly which is now Lafayette Square park 💡”

“This course was fun and challenging. The fairways were well designed and required forehand and backhand shots as well as demand a good scramble game to get a par. Nice mix of open and wooded holes as well as long and short holes. Also, there is great signage and concrete tee pads. You will never need to guess where to go next. Lastly the owner Jeremy was very nice and offered some helpful advice for some of the holes. I will definitely try to come back.”

“For a small area this little park is nice. It used to be a functioning school but in the evenings it turns into an unofficial off-leash dog park! There is a really nice trail you can walk that goes back over a bridge and into a grassy area. The trail itself is probably just under 3/4 mile. There are tons of kiddos who come out and play around with the pitch stop and soccer goals. There is only a small parking area during the week as they keep the gates closed but on the weekend when it becomes a functioning school for adults they open up the gates so you can park inside. The only issue we have is mosquitoes!! There is a small creek that runs under the bridge and they can get bad during certain parts of the year. Otherwise I would totally recommend it if you are just looking for a spot for your dog or to walk around.”

“Not much of a park as a nature trail. There is a beautiful trail between Budd and Canal Park. If you're going later in the day or in the fall months. First bit of advice is just remember the (bugspray). Second bit bring water. Third bit don't get lost. Bring a compass keep track of where your going. It's not the largest area of trees but still can get turned around.”

“One paved (but pitted and bumpy) ramp; however, the boat dock is in good condition. There is a separate fishing dock and a porta-potty. The is a gravel and a grass parking lot which can hold 20 cars with trailers. The ramp is shallow at low tide. Solo loading and unloading a boat can be a challenge at times due to tidal currents and waves from boat traffic. This seems to be a go-to spot for local boaters and bank fisherman.”
