“Need to thank the officers on duty last night publicly and apologize to one in particular, I was having trouble getting in touch with my teenage daughter last night we had a disagreement on how she is supposed to act and tried for hours to reach her with no success, and knowing these boys have bigger problems I reached out to them for help and the officer that picked up was not giving the answer I wanted he was giving the answer he was supposed to and I didn’t want to hear that and ashamed to say I lost my temper but he never wavered from his duty or his composure, and to you sir I apologize. Needless to say the boys went above and beyond to ease my worries they were professional all the way around and truth be told they should have reached through the phone and strangled me …, they physically got in touch with my daughter for me who was safe from any harm and made a phone call to me the guy who was acting like a crazy person to let me know she’s fine …. For that gentleman I thank you … you really are true heroes. You should be treated with nothing but respect. Thanx”

“I have had a few less than favorable experiences with the Belleville PD. However, they were isolated occurances with specific officers that seem to let their misguided beliefs and biased opinions affect their police work. Nevertheless, I certainly wasn't innocent at the time either so I can't really place too much blame on them for the way they handled those situations. I'm sure at the time, they felt justified and were only doing their job to the best of their ability. The department as a whole, is one of the best I've ever dealt with. They're not the type of police that are simply out to write tickets and bust people but they certainly will do both when it's necessary. They are the type that all police departments should model. As long as you mind your business and obey the law, they are basically non existent but when you need them, they are always ready, willing and able to help you..A few years ago my son got angry at his mom and ran away. Most children do this at least once in their life so at first we weren't real worried but after some time went by, he was no where to be found and as it got later and later with no sign of him, we grew more and more concerned. Finally we saw a police officer on duty and flagged him down to tell him the situation. He immediately sprung into action and before we knew it, the entire police force and fire department both were deployed on a strategically planned mission to find our son. Not more than an hour later, he was found and returned safely home. Since that time I have never felt safer in the village of Belleville. I do question their need to buy new police vehicles as often as they do but ever since that time, I also have never felt that my tax dollars were being so well utilized. When push comes to shove, the local emergency personnel handles situations diligently and professionally, but most of all, effectively. Police departments in general don't get many reviews on Google so when I saw that some misguided individual had damaged their reputation by leaving a one star review, I felt compelled to use my status as a highly ranked local guide to set the record straight. Due to numerous poor choices I've made in the past, I've dealt with many different police departments and I can tell you first hand that the Belleville PD is one of, if not the best in this area and possibly one of the best, period. Hopefully this review will help anyone who may be on the fence about them.”

I'm an explorer for the Ramsey Police Department and love it. I like to be at the station as much as possible and am normally always in the city. Far too often us folks seem to forget that these men and women are out there every day for our safety. He was in the cold but, got the job done quickly and I was on my way. Took care of the problems I had and have no problem paying the ticket that was my fault. Thanks guys and gals. Keep up the good work and stay safe.”

I was an hour away and called Troop A to see if they could help and within minutes responded, stopped traffic to get her to a safe location and stayed and helped until she was safely on the road. We called the Jeffco non-emergency number and Tom and Andy were so helpful, patient, and calm. They walked us through the steps from start to finish.
