“I have an online business (an eBay store and a Bonanza booth), and I use this post office 4-6 days a week. I like that they are open on Saturdays from 9am-12pm. I will go here instead of Bentleyville (where I live) because it is very small, 1 employee, has that quaint 'small town charm' that the Bentleyville P.O. just does not have. Don't get me started on the Bentleyville P.O., it's terrible in so many ways, including our local mail carrier. Anyway, the lady that works at Ellsworth is always sweet and upbeat and pleasant. She has answered so many of my domestic and international postal questions, and will go out of her way to ask her husband, who is also a postal worker at another district, if she is not sure of the answer. She is very smart, and does her job so well & is so personable with the customers! Ellsworth P.O. has seen its share of terrible grumpy workers, so we hope that the current worker is here to stay (hope they give her a raise and a nice vacation so she stays😉). Also, we miss Jim very much!!! He was the best! (No offense to the great girl that they have now.) If you live in Bentleyville, I encourage you to go to the Ellsworth P.O., it's only an extra mile or so, but way worth the trip!☺️”

Last time I needed to mail something out an older man employee was nice enough to explain how stamps work and give us the best deal ( even though it was only like .57c ?) he was very nice & made that visit one to remember with his jokes.”

The store phone could make only local calls. One of the other employees was rude and dismissive of Kay's anxiety. “It is ridiculous that a person cannot call the post office and actually speak to a person...all you get is a robot giving you options to press this for this and that for that...irritating because if you didn't need a person to talk to you wouldn't be calling...everything the robot gives you options for you can do on your computer so why would you call? The postal ladies that have delivered are very nice but this post office is a bit irritating in that they can't pick up the phone to answer a question that would take 2 minutes...it's a small town post office, it's not that busy that someone can't pick up the phone...and if they are busy all they would have to do is say I"m very busy right now can I return your call when I have more time...take the number down and call back.”
