Teachers and administrators are very kind and understanding, but my favorite part of it all was Glee Club. If you have a child who enjoys to sing, dance, or who would like working with spotlights, microphones, etc. it’s a very good practice for musical theatre, dance, gymnastics, and stage directing. It allows all of the students who join form a better sense of teamwork, and commitment. The club director, Mr. Ruiz was my favorite teacher, and will always be.”

“Wonderful high school! The "High school experience" here is something completely different than what most expect, on account of the small size of the school, the relaxed atmosphere, and it's integration of courses in cooperation with the Technical Institute next door. The students are generally self-motivated (especially those that attend SCTI!) and help promote a closely knit, accepting community. Many students that find difficulty "fitting in" in other schools find little difficulty in making friends here (because we're all weird in our own ways) The teachers are varied in their levels of expertise, compassion, and teaching methods (just like every high school), but most of them help in providing a caring, safe, and respectful environment.”

“I looked at many schools in the area before I finally settled on Kirk. It was their creative, well-rounded approach to education that won me over. Kirk nurtures the individual, unique spirit in each child while providing a great education. I am pretty sure the teachers at Kirk have found a way to magically squeeze more hours into the school day! At the end of a busy week, when I talk to my son about what he did (reading, writing, math, science, engineering, computers, karate, yoga, basketball, library, music, art, cooking, and more) I can't believe how many wonderful experiences he has. The school also places an emphasis on developing character and citizenship. My son started with just a few hours a week at the Tot Center and loved it so much he went to Preschool 5 days. “Our 2 yo has been at Koala Bear for the past 6 months and our newborn will start this winter. We switched from a larger franchise center and could not be happier! Our daughter actually gets excited to go to “school” each morning. She loves her friends and teachers and I believe they genuinely care for her as well. Their activity schedule is dynamic with pontoon rides and foam parties in the summer, art, singing, intergenerational activities, and an indoor gym room for winter. I got to go to this school for a few years and then had to be pulled out because I wasn't challenged enough by the work.
