But I needed them now and I knew Starr would have a great selection, and they did! And good prices too. We got away with two hats for under $100, but you could spend 3 times that amount on a single hat, if that's your thing. “I really like the new Academy compared to the old one. Even the check out experience is faster with the automated process telling you to proceed to the next available cashier. The line may be long. It may look like a Christmas time line it's so long, but it goes super fast now. That's really what I love about the new Academy. I also love how the departments are consolidated. They are no longer all lumped together. Yeti is with Yeti. Columbia is up front where it should be. Guns are finally separated from fishing. This Academy has its stuff together for sure.”

“We happened to be in the area. It was such a beautiful day and we wanted to walk around and enjoy it. We knew of Ferrington Village, but hadn't been in the area for quite sometime, but yesterday we changed that. So many interesting shops. We wandered into Dovecote, my daughter and I, couldn't resist looking at all of the beautiful things they have there. My daughter and I were greeted 3 different times with wonderful big smiles and courteous despite our less than "pretty "attire (we had been at an outdoor clean up event at Jordan Lake) so sweatshirts & rainboots were our dress.
