“Just saw the Eagles here which was all time Best concert ever. Concentrating on the venue the parking was awesome being it was one level outside. Getting here was easy straight off the highway. The upper level is really steep- standard stadium seating. The steps are a bit short, so we saw some people struggling. They could’ve done the better job of turning the lights on, so people could find their seats and navigate the steps at the end. The temperature was perfect. There was plenty of restrooms, and even though the place was sold out, the people traffic wasn’t too crazy.”

“A good field and track set up. Plenty of seating with a good view from any seat. Handicap seating available as well. Snack bar open depending on what event is taking place. Plenty of parking for home team in rear and visitor parking closer to the street. Just congested when the event is over. The main building is 2 story. Down stairs are team locker rooms , restrooms & a snack bar on the back side of the building. Main door entry in front is access to upstairs where the school board holds their meetings. Along with award presentations.”

“My son had a football game out here for their Jr High team. It was easy to find with GPS, but parking was the difficult part. There was a small parking lot right in front of the stadium, so that was all full along with other parking in front of the school due to also being another game scheduled there. We parked a bit out of the way along another small street. We did have to purchase our tickets online only. They had a Family bathroom along with separate bathrooms Mens/Woman’s. The concession stand was great! Variety of snacks to choose from AND they served Iced Starbucks! They also had Specials which was pretty neat! Very reasonably priced. Stadium was clean, & staff was very nice .”

“Nice stadium with clean bathrooms. We really enjoyed the guy that was providing the play-by-play commentary. My only suggestion would be that when teams bring a canopy to set up in the stands, they need to set up in the highest bleachers, not down low where they block the spectators view of the field.”

“Joseph G. Echols Hall is a beloved institution on the campus of Norfolk State University, and for good reason. This impressive facility is home to a wide range of academic and athletic programs, and it's a hub of activity and excitement for students, faculty, and visitors alike. One of the things that I appreciated about Echols Hall is how well-equipped and versatile it is. The building includes state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, and performance spaces, as well as a modern athletic center with a gymnasium, weight room, and training facilities. Whether you're attending a lecture, a concert, or a basketball game, you can be sure that Echols Hall will provide a top-notch experience. But what really sets Echols Hall apart is the sense of community and spirit that it fosters. This is a place where students can come together to learn, grow, and pursue their passions, whether they're interested in science, the arts, or athletics. The staff and faculty are dedicated to supporting student success, and there's a real sense of camaraderie and pride that pervades the entire campus.”

“Fastpitch softball is huge in Akron, Ohio and its home is here. For every level from collegiate on down to the youngsters, fans can always catch a great game, for a great price, at a historic stadium with great amenities. And, when we get our Akron Racers back in the rubber city, the park will host the professional level and feature the best talent the game has to offer anywhere in the world. Concession prices and entry/ticket prices are always fair. Get out to the ballpark this summer and catch a game!”
