“My daughter learned to ride at Wind Crest. After attending summer camp there(and loving it) she leased the sweet Kody. Susanna instructed in a gentle, encouraging way which built my daughter's confidence. We then purchased our own horse and boarded her there. We knew that our horse was given the best care and I liked both Gail's and Susanna's philosophy of using solid horsemanship and not harsh aids. Both Susanna and Gail offered suggestions and support to help us navigate our horse's behavior issues. The atmosphere at Wind Crest is fun and laid back. Both my daughter and I made some friends and always felt supported and welcome. No judgement.”

“This was the perfect getaway for our family! The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped to hold our family of 7. We wanted nature to be our entertainment and it did not disappoint! We ditched the electronic devices and spent time outside, in the hot tub, hiking, and building fires. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table, and spent alone time in the hammock. We are incredibly grateful that we booked at Acre Ridge and we will definitely be back!”

“This place was paradise in New Braunfels! Treehouse with lots of space and a big fun pool! A group of us stayed here for a weekend. It was so much fun and relaxing. “I have ridden at several barns and facilities over the years. In these years, I have also ridden under several different trainers. Rachel is hands down one of the best riding instructors I have found thus far. She explains the "why" behind everything she asks of the rider, she is incredibly enthusiastic, and she really makes things "stick". I have only had two lessons with her so far, but I feel like I have already made loads more progress than I ever did with some trainers I rode with in the past. The facility is impeccable, one of the best I have ever ridden at; and the horses are obviously well cared for. I look forward to continuing lessons with Rachel, and am so grateful to have found Native River Farms!”

“After my first stay at this home over Thanksgiving weekend last year, I had to come back again this year! This home is beautiful and welcoming, with every amenity you can think of. It’s large enough to accommodate a big family or a gathering of friends with plenty of bedrooms and other common areas. The backyard is incredible with a pool, putting green, grill, pool table, and tv outside. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great staycation or vacation spot! I’ll be back :)”

They have a washer and dryer free to use. The pool is always clean as well as.the spa. Paul greeted us nicely. Take advantage of the weekly rate if planning a vaca. Had I known would have done it. “We went here on a whim for our small spring break for my family (i have 7 y.o.). Travel always hard on our family since my husband and I has a dietary limitations. But this time gives us awhile different perspective with their warm welcome. Since we made a call for reservations all the way to our staying there it's such a pleasant experience. No impersonal, sterile experience of the hotel. You speak to the person and enjoy the personalized touch in your food, decor and your room. And we also talked to Angel (the manager there) and she's such a caring lady (she made a special treat for my little ones for breakfast). My family will surely come back. Another plus point is the price. For two room and that kind of service you can't beat their price.”

“I had an incredible time on my island cruise with my family! We saw dolphins, swam, explored one tree island, and went paddle boarding! The captain and crewmate were so nice and had great customer service! They were very professional and made us feel safe, but also gave us a great time! We ate our gourmet charcuterie board and saw dolphins along the way! To top it all off the sunset took my breath away! “We went on a rafting trip with them at Letchworth State Park and had a fantastic time! It was so exciting being able to go down into the gorge! The views were amazing! The staff members were friendly and very funny, but also very knowledgeable and kept everyone safe. There were opportunities along the way to body surf down the river and swim and play in a waterfall! This was such a fun day trip, I would definitely do it again and I highly recommend it to everyone! There were people there ranging from kids to grandparents. The rapids were fun but not too crazy, so a great family trip.”
