“A super place for a large family vacation. Our family of 16 stayed here quite comfortably for a full week and had a great time. I wasn't sure there was a place large enough for all of us at a reasonable price but this one delivered, although it wasn't entirely without shortcomings. There's a bit of inconsistency throughout the house given that some bedrooms/bathrooms appear to be redone or more up-to-date than others. The bathroom I primarily used could definitely use a bit of renovation. The bed I slept in also needed to be replaced as it sagged heavily in the middle even with the foam topper, and wasn't altogether the most comfortable night of sleep. The kitchen was surprisingly functional and worked well enough to cook and serve for 16 all at once. There was a decent amount of equipment although again some was in need of replacement -- particularly the -- of which there didn't appear to be one that could cut through more than a tomato. All these small complaints aside, I would reiterate that the place was great and we will likely return. Shuffle your feet over a little asphalt and a bit of hot sand and you're at the beach.”

“What a great experience! Our tour guide Captain Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, he had everyone laughing and participating. It was well worth the money. We saw many gators, raccoons, turtles and birds. The canals where beautiful, Captain Patrick was able to tell us so much about the trees and vegetation. This is a definite must do while you are in Louisiana. Five star for Captain Patrick”

“We had an amazing time on our tour this morning. This was our first guided tour experience and we couldn't have asked for a better time. What made me decide to go with Corolla Jeep Adventures was the guy who answered the phone when we called to confirm pricing and availability--he was very friendly and offered us their group discount of $10 off per person for our group of 6 adults. It turns out each company charges about the same amount, but our tour guide, Marine John, really seemed to go above and beyond the call of duty. He really did a phenomenal job. He was passionate about his job and extremely knowledgeable about just about everything--from nature to the fighter jets that flew over. We also took a ride up the the second largest living sand dune, Penny's Hill and even saw a Harem (a small group of horses) there! The safari ride itself was bouncy and tons of fun all on its own. It was slated to last 2 hours, but took about 2.5. We saw lots of horses, egrets, a family of ospreys and dolphins. I can honestly say it was some of the best money we've spent while here on vacation. We all agree--and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.”

“I recently returned from the Backroads Tour of Ireland with Peggy Coonley of Serendipity Traveler. I cannot say enough about this trip. Peggy has certainly done her research. Started with an excellent tour of the city of Dublin. Then on to one of the highlightsof the tour. A visit to the Burren with the assistance of Tony Kirby. He is so knowledgable about the area. We visited out of the way ancient monastaries, and even held a lamb. All along the accommodations were just lovely. Pub music and great food completed the fun. Aided by our perfect driver, Martin. All and all this trip exceeded my expectations.”

“After our first time experiencing using Agate Bay Realty for our weekend rental at Lake Tahoe, we will be using them to rent all of our future rental homes for our yearly Tahoe trip! Due to a winter weather storm, there was a snow berm at the end of the rentals driveway preventing access. Before it was even time to check in, an amazing agent had already contacted us with the issue along with options for a different rentals to accommodate us for the night until they could have their snow plow remove the berm. Some of the options were more deluxe/expensive than our current rental but they assured we would not have to pay the difference and, if we chose, could stay at the new rental for the remainder of our stay if we chose. Thankfully the snow berm was able to be cleared and we checked in to our original rental on our first night with no other issues. The agent provided us with her personal cell phone number during all of this for quick assistance during it all. 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!”

“Lael was VERY patient with us as we planned our first vacation to Italy. She carefully listened to what we were hoping for, provided multiple options, helped us when we couldn’t decide, and then put together an incredible itinerary. She was there at all the right times. When one of the tour guides was late, we called the company - it went to VM. Unsure what to do next, we did what she suggested to us more than once while planning - we contacted Lael. Within minutes we had a call from the company with explanation (car trouble) and a driver/guide was there minutes later. The hotels she recommended were less expensive than the ones we were considering and much nicer. The food recommendations were wow! She asks you what you want and then she makes it happen. What more could you ask for?”

“Talk about a man with many gifts. Mr. Luis has such a beautiful soul. Even though we have only had one lesson with him so far we feel like he made a genuine connection with our son, which is not easy to do for people that are not fluent or have any knowledge of American Sign Language. My son is 14yo and deaf. Luis had no problem instructing my son. He was very comfortable asking me to interpret instructions to my son and he always faced him and spoke to him even though I was interpreting what he was saying(very awesome because most ppl unfamiliar with the deaf community will look at the interpreter and say can you tell them...big nono. But he didnt. he kept eye contact with him the whole time)But even more impressive that most of the instructing came from Luis, he was using visual cues, gestures, and showing him how to do maneuvers by getting on a horse himself to show him exactly what it should look like. He was kind, patient and a pleasure to be around. He appeared to want to learn how to be supportive to my son and help him make his dreams come true to ride like a real cowboy and get one step closer to his goal to start learning reining and one day competing and training others someday.Thank you Mr. Luis for giving us a wonderful gift and making him feel important despite the communication barrier .
