The accommodating and gracious people of the Dominican Republic staffing this resort went out of their way to make our stay an amazing one. The coffee shop was one of my favorite spots but there are many spaces to have a quiet time during the day. Relaxing during the day allows saved energy for the class act restaraunts, night shows and parties on the resort! Looking forward to my next adventure there.”

“If you're looking to step back in time a bit - these cabins are perfect! All the comforts... still super clean, just a little age. But you'll never beat the view or all the extras for the price. Grill and patio area, incredible dock for entertaining. Would be great for a family reunion -- or just a couples getaway like we did. Dave and Peggy Oaks are super people. The lake is full of fish, and due to its size ... is always calm, but there's plenty of boating and fishing going on. One of our best vacations ever!”

“My daughters and I were having an adventurous day. We drove by Saddle Lake and saw the Cincinnati Beracats sign and had to pull in. My girls are 8 and 5, don't ride horses but love new things. I asked them if they wanted to see some horses and they yelled YES. So, I walked around briefly, stumbled on some amazing f young lady that didn't hesitate to answer my request if my two girls could see some horses. She showed us over to the stalls and introduced us to 5 different beautiful horses. Thanks for allowing us in to see your beautiful facility, great people and wonderful animals. Maybe we'll be back someday for a more serious walk around or a camp over the summer. Cheers.”

“A small company with BIG service. Rafael and his wife were MASTERS at this. It was an overcast night, so the sunset was not available to us, but the time on boat was easily the best time we have had in Catalina. A small group went with us and they were all gracious and kind. The water was smooth, no need for motion sickness issues, the snacks provided kept coming out and it’s BYOB, so everyone had everything they needed. If you do one thing on the island, this is your thing. They will even let you sleep on the boat if you want to stay ( they live elsewhere ) We are brining the kids back in a few months!!”

“Despite only 20min of whale action in over 8 hours out at sea across two days, it was still a very positive experience. John and the crew were excellent on both days. The boat is spacious and the views are excellent. It's worth mentioning that John's boat is quite a bit slower than the one of the competitors, so on the days when the whales are scarce, the other group will get to them first once the spotters give the signal. So if I went again, I'd probably try the other company. The experience with John was first class though”

“What can we say except ... Stellar Stay Again! We've returned for the third year to this special place & shall be returning again! Each year, we meet up with beach friends from years past to enjoy the sun, sea, sand & relaxation! Ann is the perfect hostess ... always making sure your needs are met & the Shack is in perfect order for your stay! There's easy access to close restaurants with shopping nearby - and plenty of places to explore (if that's your interest). This is a very quaint unit and is certainly not the most modern - there's no need for a pool or exercise facility when there the beach right in front of your eyes but it is absolutely perfect with everything needed for your stay - towels are plentiful & dishes are too - the king bed is comfy & there's adequate places for your clothes. In our years, we've been lucky to travel from Europe to Hawaii to many places in the US ... but every year The Shack calls us back and welcomes us with open arms! We are always sad to depart but always planning for our next visit to our special spot here ... perhaps our next hamburger on the grill and for sure, our next beautiful Shack Sunset!”

“Cannot express how wonderful and perfect Blue Sky Mountain Ranch! With a group of 11 people (with additional day guests), we not only have the best weekend at their home, but had the most memorable and incredible wedding on their property! Kevin and Jennifer were such amazing hosts - answering all of our questions, helping with logistics and providing great information. The views of this home are unlike you’ve seen and it’s so close to Denver area. The house had so many amenities and pretty much had everything we needed for the weekend. Kevin also took our group on ATV tours which was one of the highlights of the weekend! So so fun! Highly highly recommend this home for your next vacation or wedding!! We will definitely be back!”

“I need a six or seven star option. Captain Joe was fantastic. I have family in the area, but it had been too cold to show them any of the water adventures I love so much in Florida and most of my last minute ideas were booked. Then I ran into Salt and Mist and Captain Joe really delivered. I’ve been on a dozen of these and while they are all enjoyable, Captain Joe gave us something special, taking us all the way out to and under the Skyway bridge when I asked about it. Sunset on the water, finally getting under the Sunshine Skyway and lots of dolphin magic on the way back. Personable, knowledgeable, and safe but bold, he gave us an awesome experience and we look forward to our next adventure with Salt and Mist.”

“My six-year-old daughter expressed interested in riding horses. I stopped into the Cape Cod Equestrian center for a tour. I met a woman named Elise who gave me a tour and explained their lesson program and schedules. She was very friendly, kind and patient with all my questions. My daughter has been riding here a few weeks and really seems to enjoy all the horses, various animals and the “big kids” who ride at the barn. Everyone (staff, parents and kids) all are very polite and welcoming. It has be a great experience here!”

The pool area is beautiful & private surrounded by palm trees. The beach and trolley stop is a close walk. The home has a washer & dryer which is a huge plus. We love the rooftop and plan to return again.”
