“Our 10 year old German Shepherd Liberty was battling intestinal cancer in the late stages for over a week. Late Sunday night she started rapidly declining and by 2am we called this emergency hospital for euthanasia. We have never been to this hospital before but we were desperate for help asap. The staff was extremely compassionate, and worked with us quickly because it was so urgent. Grace met us at the desk and Kelly the technician processed everything very quickly. The vet Dr. Emily was incredibly compassionate to our situation and she did everything she could to make the process as painless as possible for all of us. Thank you so much to all of you for helping us through a terrible time. We are also very grateful to have the beautiful paw prints of our sweet Liberty.”

“We couldn’t have had a better experience at Vista. We had just come from another emergency veterinary hospital and were sent away after waiting for an hour due to too many critical animals coming in. We called ahead to come into Vista and were told our pup could be seen. In the meantime more critical animals came in and quickly overwhelmed Vista. Worried we were going to be sent away from another vet, we were advised that we would be seen but there would be a wait. Considering there were other animals in greater need, we were more then okay with that. Despite being so busy and tired, our pup received nothing but the best care from the entire staff. “I’ve taken all my past pets here, since 2011, and the mobile clinic for spay and neuters. They all healed perfectly. I’ve also taken them to get their shots and preventive here, always great prices. Recently my dog needed to be spayed since she had an infection in her uterus and i waited in line at the free clinic for 5 hours but didn’t make it in since they reached max big dog capacity. I was devastated and called the resource center and discussed what I could do. The woman was so kind and went above and beyond to help. I got a call back an hour later saying she was accepted as an emergency case at the Norwood location and take her asap. I took her and they were very prompt and completed her surgery within and hour and a half. I am very beyond grateful they got her in. Cannot thank enough. Stella says thank you too!”

“We unfortunately found Cooke Vet Center after our dogs cancer diagnosis. The staff was kind and professional until the end of our big guys life. Dr. Edson is not only knowledgeable but passionate about helping all animals enjpy every moment they have. Dr. Ives was with us on his last day and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. Lisa-Marie was compassionate, gentle, and loving to our beautiful boy. Once he was gone she took great care in capturing a clay impression of his paw and gathering a lock of hair. This snall act allows us to always have a part of him nearby. I also would like to call out Kim who is a wonderful front desk associate and always brightens your day no matter how dark it is. I wish we had found them sooner so our dog could've benifitted from their care for years instead of months.”

“Was referred to Dr. Holland by my vet due to concerns for early-stage renal disease. This was confirmed, but because of the thoroughness of the exam, it was noticed that he was also having loose stools. We'd been battling this for a while, and eventually, Louis was also diagnosed with IBD. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Holland and her staff. They are kind, empathetic, patient, and professional. Dr. Holland is personable, thorough, and makes a point to discuss her findings and plan in detail at EVERY visit whether that discussion is in person, via email, or by phone. You can tell this clinic truly loves what they do, and they are extremely good at what they do. They follow through with promises, and are responsive with questions and concerns. “I have spent a lot of time at this hospital the past few weeks. First with my dog, Charlie who suddenly collapsed in my car. MedVet was fast to get him on the schedule to be seen. Luckily, he is okay! Then tonight I had to stop in with my other dog Dixie, who accidentally ingested a ton of dark chocolate and needed to be hospitalized. “The care and dedication of this team is unmatched. We took our lab to the rehab weekly his last two years with us and they for sure helped extend his time here and gave him a better quality of life. The rehab team is amazing! The vet is also incredible, everyone is so friendly and helpful. It feels like you’re around close friends and family.
