He's operated on one of my smallest (spay, removed ½ lb mammary tumor, dental cleaning w/extractions) and helped me with aftercare plans. Midge (the dog) is doing extremely well and she's always happy to see the vet! Additionally, Dr. Montgomery has helped me make some difficult decisions in care for some of my other animals and I'm glad that he was there to help me through that rough time. “I want to give this place five stars because I hate to be the person the complains about price. That being my only issue, this place was the only place open on new years eve 12.31.21 that had any availability to see my cat. Cat injured his leg and it was getting worse to a point where he couldn't even rest and was acting scary. Wouldn't put any weight on it at all and I thought it was broken. I called all the sage hospitals from the peninsula to San Jose, all the medvets, archvet, any animal hospital I could find on Yelp or Google maps while my cat was crying for hours. Every place said they just couldn't take him, or had a 4-5 hour wait (And when I called back, they said the updated status with no more availability) South Bay animal hospital right away said they could see my cat if I brought him. I brought my cat over right away and explained to them a bit of his symptoms. I ended up sitting in the car for over an hour trying to get approval for a loan because the diagnosis for his leg injury was over $3,000, And I don't think he would be seen without upfront payment. Thank God it turned out not to be a broken leg or worse. My cat had gotten attacked and his leg was getting infected so they drained and cleaned the wound. Overall, so grateful that this place was the only one that could see my cat, but I'm wondering if it's because of their prices. Not sure if that is normal, but if it is I probably will try to call all the other vets before I come back here. Reliable but expensive.”

“I was so blessed to come across this clinic. My beloved Tigre was very ill and his previous vet felt very detached from him. Idk if that makes sense. However we took a chance and brought him here. They gave me the unfortunate news that he was in the last stages of kidney failure. That's not something anyone wants to hear. Tigre was the love of my life. EVERYONE at the cat care clinic was nothing but kind and understanding. They walked me through how to make his last days the most comfortable. And when it was time to say goodbye to him they showed nothing but compassion and kindness to my husband and I. Even up to the day when we picked up his ashes. They have always been so gracious. It's hard to even talk about it because we miss Tigre so much...but their kind deeds need to be acknowledged. Thank you all so much. It goes without saying that we highly recommend this clinic. “I have lived here for 20 years and I’ve tried various vets and have not been happy with any. I love my vet in Burbank but it is a long drive especially when something is wrong. When my dog ate some onions, I knew it had to be addressed right away, I went to this place and I did not know they were under new management since the last time I had gone there, so I was happily surprised with the service I received. They were amazing to my dog and they took great care of him. Less than two weeks later he had a major issue and it was after hours so I had to go to the urgent care, they said he had pancreatitis and sent him home with me. I had a dog with pancreatitis before and she was in the hospital for a week so I was nervous about him just coming home, he didn’t look good so I brought him here the next morning. They felt maybe he had an obstruction that may be causing the pancreatitis. They put him on an IV and did some tests. They went out of their way and helped me a by calling around finding a hospital that would be open to care for him and had an ultrasound to check for an instruction. The hospital they sent me to couldn’t be sure and wanted to do exploratory surgery and I ended up doing it. They found a plastic bag going through his intestines which I’m sure he got when he got into the trash and ate the onions. I am beyond grateful to them because they are the ones who felt it wasn’t just pancreatitis . If I just would’ve kept my dog at home he would’ve died so I owe them everything they are amazing”

Dr. Stewart was amazing I took my sweet girl mia to get spayed and everything went perfect and the communication was amazing. I received a text the next day asking how she was doing ( which is so thoughtful!). My dog had a little complication not being calm after her surgery and I texted the number late in the evening and I got a response so quickly and they were able to schedule me to come in the next day so they could treat mia due to her wound having some complications ( due to my dog not the vet). Amy and deb were AMAZING at making me feel comfortable and being so gentle with my sweet girl mia. The communication and service from Amy was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking. Like I said I usually don’t leave reviews but this was an amazing experience for both me and mia!”
