“Dr Nelms was very thorough in her examination of my kitty’s eyes. She has had issues since she was a kitten. Dr. Nelms explained everything in detail and gave several different options for treatment. The clinic was very clean and well kept. All employees were kind and made sure I was comfortable. “I had to take our sweet, beautiful, cherished little dog in for euthanasia this week at Tillie Lake. She was a little girl that everyone adored, because of her gentle, engaging personality, and by far the hardest to part with of any dog that has been a part of our animal loving, multi-dog, family. Dr Jill, and her techs, did a phenomenal job. They were warm, gentle, compassionate and understanding, and showed genuine remorse for our great loss. They took time out of their busy day to allow me to reflect and share aspects of our beloved pets life. Throughout my life, I have had the honor to be “mom” to many wonderful dogs, many of whom have had to be put down due to old age and the diseases that come with it. I have only seen the genuine compassion I felt from Dr Jill and her techs from one other veterinarian clinic many years ago. The healing that follows is much easier when you know your beloved pets last moments were respected by people who understand and care about what both you and your pet are going through. The care prior to my pets passing was phenomenal as well. Dr Jen was warm, compassionate, and responsive, and made treatments and medications available on a daily basis to our beloved dog. This allowed her to live a happy life for many more months than anticipated, and allowed us to have additional quality time with our little girl. I will be forever grateful for the care our little one received both in life and death”

Their later availability and hours made it easy to get in with. Their pricing is also MUCH more reasonable than other surrounding facilities. “Compassionate care at a reasonable price. I have two elderly cats that have been patients at New Tampa Animal Hospital since 2019. One is diabetic and on daily insulin shots. The other requires a special diet. The Vet and all of her staff are always friendly. The place is clean compared to many other vets I’ve taken them to over the years (no “wet dog” smell). The care my two fur babies receive is outstanding. Highly recommend!”

“We found Dr. Camp when our elderly dog, Frankie, had become very ill, I wasn’t thrilled with our current vet. I called them and was able to drop him off to be worked in. Dr. Camp worked tirelessly over the next few weeks to try to get to the bottom of what was going on with him, staying late, calling specialists from teaching hospitals, truly going the extra mile. Although we weren’t able to save him, it wasn’t for her lack of trying. Her compassion and care for the animals she treats is unlike any I have experienced. We were sent the most beautiful card with personal messages from each of the staff and his paw prints, it was above and beyond what would ever be expected. The staff has always been so friendly and welcoming and it is evident that they love the animals that are patients there. That doesn’t go unnoticed. We now have two new loves, Toby and Henry, and I wouldn’t trust their care with anyone else! I never leave reviews, but when looking for care for your fur babies, it’s important to be able to see real and honest experiences and I felt compelled to share mine.
