“ReadiVet came into our lives at a low point when the health of our beloved cat of 16 years suddenly changed for the worse over Memorial Day weekend. Not wanting to stress Genie more by taking her to a vet, I texted ReadiVet on Sunday to see if they had any openings the following week. Much to my gratefulness, Sonia called me Monday morning and arranged for Dr. Hyde and Heather to come. Dr. Hyde and Heather were gentle, knowledgeable and prompt, and they answered all of our questions and provided us with options. It was discovered that Genie’s kidneys were failing and due to her age and prognosis, we had to make the unexpected and difficult decision of not letting her suffer any longer. The whole process was emotionally difficult, and through it all, the care, compassion and patience that Dr. Hyde, Heather and Sonia showed us meant more than they may realize. Now, two months after Genie crossed the rainbow bridge, I still miss her terribly. But the sad memories of saying good bye to her are uplifted by ReadiVet‘s gentleness, kindness and respect. Although we used ReadiVet for an unexpected emergency, I have no doubt all of their routine veterinary services are conducted with such compassion and professionalism. “Today I called first thing in the morning for my cat that was having urinary issues. The receptionist was super calm and seemed to care so that felt amazing! They scheduled me for 10 am, then I got a phone call saying “come now” so I did. I got there around 845 and my cat was seen immediately, which meant a lot to me. Everyone with pets know the stress of them being uncomfortable. Dr. Charles really explained all of the possible scenarios and told me in a way I could understand vs medical talk and confusing. I’ve lived in Dallas for 2 years and I had never met a vet here who I liked, that seemed to actually enjoy animals until today. Angie the nurse was also amazing. Very kind and comforting to the cat, they did everything possible to make him comfortable. I am so thankful I found this clinic and that they were all so helpful and kind to my cat! I will only be going to them for my pets needs from now on. ETA- my cat blocked Sunday and I called Dr. Charles panicking, she told me to come in the next morning so I did. She told me the risks and gave him affordable treatment. They were able to unblock him and sent him home. I’m really amazed by the compassion at this clinic. For once it’s a clinic that doesn’t feel money based. Thanks for doing everything possible for my baby.”

“We recently lost our sweet boy, Dakota. The staff was very kind, as always. Dr Austin was kind and very patient. She told us we could come early and spend as much time as we wanted to love on him before putting him to sleep. I cannot say enough about Faith. She was the best. She was kind, explained every step and kept checking on us. However, we did not feel rushed at all. She has a very soft voice and is so empathetic. She told us about the walk she took him on and things he did that morning. She definitely is the right person for that job. Dr. Austin and Faith both made us feel that it was the right decision to let him go. The most thoughtful thing was they brought in a jar of “Goodbye Kisses” “because no dog should go to Heaven without tasting chocolate. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“My 3 lb toy Yorkie was bit on her head by my German Sheppard and she was bleeding from her ear and her eye. I didn't think she would make it. She was taken back immediately and 2 doctors started working on her. Not only were they concerned about my dog but myself as well, as I was historical and felt like I couldn't breath, they noticed my breathing right away and brought me water and checked on me. After a 3 hr stay my baby is now home sleeping on my chest! She has a long road of recovery but she's a fighter and is on her way to recovery! “After calling around several vets to get help with a rescue, VCare ended up being the kindest, most supportive and empathetic. My stray Mama cat had a very hard time breathing, I didn’t think she would make it through the night. VCare gave me an immediate appointment over the phone. When I arrived the clinic was very clean and they walked me through possible causes, treatments and pricing. Really asking about her background and understanding what led up to the illness. Everyone was so kind, and treatment was prompt. The doctor called so fast with testing results and medicine was prescribed immediately. Mama was back to herself by the next day. A few days later they called to check up on her, and even helped me with an immediate stray to check for microchip when other vets wouldn’t. Highly recommend this vet!”

“My husband and I moved here from NJ this year and needed a regular vet. My sister recommended this vet to us. We have 3 cats and just got a dog in April. While we have not brought any of our cats in yet, the care and service we've received so far with our dog has been incredible. My puppy's surgery went great, and they have listened to all of my worries and concerns. My sister was there one day recently for her dog and they asked her how my dog and I were after the surgery. She told them how I was a little concerned about her because it looked like she may have popped a stitch, regardless of keeping her crated, and tight in the leash while going potty. She told them how the local vet hospital shooed me away the night before when I tried to get her care. They showed immediate concern and they even told my sister she could come pick me up with my dog and they would see her right before they closed because my husband had to take my car to work and I had no way of going there. They truly care about and love animals and want the best for them. They will do anything for your fluffy loved ones! They also accept Care Credit and will write prescriptions through Chewy so you don't have to drive there every month for whatever you need. LOVE THEM!”
