Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA)

This is a nice space with a great collection of works. It's fresh and worth the visit

A fascinating centre representing a vast array of art styles, culture, concerns and people. The staff were lovely, welcoming and informative, the installations were interactive, the building was fresh and seats are provided. Sculpture, film, 2D, and culinary were on display at the time of my visit. Ramps and lifts are available for accessibility and there's investigation activities for the older kids- great venue for arty teens and their families. The location surrounded by gardens, stores and restaurants is fabulous too! Undercover parking about a 2 minute walk away on Stanley Street. Wear comfy shoes as you'll be wandering from piece to piece in wonder and not notice how much walking and standing you're doing 😇

Super helpful staff that gave us a quick tour and background details on the artists. Spent 40mins looking through the exhibits capturing our life in 2020. Great experience for kids and adults. The inflatable exhibit particularly popular with the kids .... or the art hidden behind little cupboard doors. Free entry too!!
