“Innkeeper extraordinaire, Amanda Lowes, made our experience 5+ stars right from the time of booking. She took the time to ask simple questions to gain information on mine and my husband's needs for the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. My husband has health challenges, she recommended our stay begin at INN 31. Easy access, one flight of stairs AND above all a quiet cozy atmosphere. From booking to receiving texts on easy entry check in on arrival, Amanda went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. The room was clean and cool upon arrival. On our first night, after a lovely meal at the historic train station we returned to our room. It was as we had left it, but I was concerned that perhaps the AC was off or the temperature adjusted, it did not feel quite as cool. I was worried we/my husband was in for an uncomfortable night. I texted the number provided and inquired (I was trying to be ahead of the curve), I was assured that the AC was still on but Amanda was willing to travel back to the INN to check for us. After discussion with my husband, we decided we’d see how the night goes and let her know in the morning. After a restful sleep, we ventured out to the sites of Point Pelee National Park and local wineries, breweries and garden centres. While on our adventures, Amanda texted to see how we were, she offered to come and double check AC while we were out (of course, asking permission before entry). Although I reassured her that we slept just fine, I did appreciate the offer of a check in. Upon her entry, Amanda discovered that 2 vents had been closed off. Rectifying the situation, she also sanitized our room once again. Her care and concern shined through with that last action. BUT if that wasn’t enough, I inquired if there was a chair that could be brought into the room for my husband as he found the sofa soft (truly it was luxurious for me to snuggle and read my book). Before we left for our evening dinner she arrived at our door with a comfy chair for my husband's evening use. Absolutely AMAZING. To be honest, we went to Kingsville with the sole purpose of a once in a lifetime visit to Point Pelee. After our experience at Distinctive INNS, we are planning another trip in the fall. Thank you Amanda, for making our little getaway the best.”

Pleasant Valley Campground

Address: 808 Essex County Rd 20, Kingsville, ON N9Y 1H8, Canada

Campground Park Lodging

“This campground is really great. I’m rather saddened by the reviews as I know many of them are written out of anger because someone didn’t get their way and didn’t respect park rules. I think the issue is that many individuals feel as though they are family when they stay here, and should be able to get away with not following the rules. When the rules don’t get bent for them, that’s when they start sharing harsh words about the campground and management. All campgrounds have rules, and following the rules here will lead to happy staff, happy management, happy owners, and therefore a happy camper😊”
