Freddy's Restaurant

Great restaurant close to Point pelee park. Great perch, love the spiced pan fried, so fresh and lots of flavour. They have their own beer brew, the drive and Freddy’s lager, both are very refreshing! Service is good too, a great place drop by after the visit to the national park.

From the time we got to the door it was an incredibly welcoming environment. Our server was friendly, the food was absolutely delicious! The best part of the experience was speaking to the owners, having them come by to ensure our experience was going well. We sat out on the patio for lunch - perfect day with a cool breeze. I had the blackened perch tacos, small but don’t let the size fool you, they are full of flavor my wife had the chicken kebab wrap, this thing was huge but cooked to perfection. Highly recommend you try their in-house made craft beer, The Drive. Great summer blonde ale for a hot day. Will visit again! Stopped for lunch and a glass of wine the day Rogers was out nationwide and I'm still dreaming about my food. The service was great (Madison rocks) and the perch was delicious. Definitely get the five piece meal. So yummy. Added bonus: this business has their core values posted in the bathroom. As a recovering auditor and general nerd, I love to see that 🤓

It’s really good! Fried perch was excellent. 🧡 they even gave me an extra piece to share with my sister. Portions are just right, enough that you can finish and not give a food coma. I can see it may be small for some people though. Fries were also super good, food came pretty fast. The only thing I would say it’s quite expensive, was about 30$ for the dish. But not bad!
