We are so grateful to have Home Instead in our lives. My parents are thriving at home because of their great care. The workers from Home Instead are like family and make sure that my parents' home is always clean, that they eat nutricious and delicious food, that they do their exercices and that they are happy. Thanks to Home Instead, our parents can continue to stay in their home. Without them, my mother would have had to be put into a long term care home. I only have great things to say about the workers and also about the administration staff that respond to our every need quickly, efficiently and always with compassion. I highly recommend the use of Home Instead to keep our parents safe and happy in their own home.

Home Instead has been a lifesaver for my elderly father and for me. From the initial meeting with Laurie-Anne, Home Instead has shown my dad incredible respect and compassion. Owner Ryan was able to find several caregivers on his staff who were willing to come into my father's home every evening since the Covid-19 crisis began (when I was in self-isolation for 14 days). Dad enjoyed those daily visits so much that he wanted to continue with them even after I was able to resume my daily visits to his home. Ryan is flexible and compassionate, as are Dad's caregivers, Amanda, Linda, and Simonne. Rates are very competitive with other similar companies. Thank you so much for everything you are doing to keep elderly parents like my dad safe and happy in their own homes!

Our family has been pleased with the service that Home Instead provides. The agency is quick to respond to any concerns we may have. The caregivers are kind and compassionate with Mum and engage her in conversation and various activities to ensure she is stimulated when we are not there. It gives our family peace-of-mind to know Mum is well cared for and that Home Instead team is always looking out for her best interests.

Absolutely excellent!! We are very thankful for services provided by your company. We have had nothing but pleasant experiences from day one. Care coordinator is easily available by phone and email and she does a great job scheduling care givers who are not only well trained in handling dementia patients but they also fit well with our mom’s personality. All three of our mother’s caregivers are absolutely wonderful! They are excellent listeners, pay close attention to detail, very respectful, patient and know how to encourage my mom to be as independent as possible. They allow her to do tasks she is still able to do. They are extremely courteous and shower mom with love and empathy. We feel they are well trained to help dementia patients preserve their dignity. They give her space respectfully when she is upset or agitated and always find a way to end their time with her with a good laugh. Care givers have figured out mom loves praise and laughter!!! Thank you so much for your amazing and creative work with our mom. We feel mom is blessed.

I can't even express how much I love the Home Instead team and their services! They have been helping our family with the care of our parents for the past several years. The office team is extremely efficient with the scheduling, and the Caregivers are consistently loving, caring and truly dedicated to their clients and families. I find that no matter how many different Caregiver come into our lives, we grow to love them like family. They have cared for our parents as if they were their own. They are like an extension of us when we are not able to be there to care for our parents. They handle the Alzheimer's disease with compassion and patience. When our father passed away, the Caregivers immediately took on long shifts in order to be by our mother's side until family could arrive in town. They continued to be with our mother while we were planning the funeral so that she was never alone. They all went beyond the call of duty in making sure our mother and the family were well taken care of during our time of need, despite the fact that they were also grieving. They have continued to give amazing care to my mother every evening during her sundowning hours. They tuck her into bed with a hug and kiss every night. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead for anyone with an elderly parent. Home Instead is truly a wonderful solution to the challenges that can arise with caring for an elderly family member, whether they are living at home, or living in a retirement/long-term care home.
