Ever heard of a Motorcycle Mechanic that does HOUSE CALLS? Well, that's what PETE from Baldwin's Cycle just did for me. I live in Toronto but am buying a bike from a friend in Welland. We are running into all kinds of complications with this current Lockdown and I must have called at least half a dozen bike shops to try to get a Safety Check. Because they don't consider it a "big ticket" item in terms of profit, most of them just flat out turned me down. "Too busy" .... "tow it back to Toronto" .... "not worth my time" was what I kept hearing.

Quinn's Custom Motorcycles was kind enough to recommend Pete at Baldwin's and what a different response. Even though he is just as busy getting his customer's bikes ready for this year's riding season, Pete said he would not only fit in the job (somehow!!) but he actually offered to stop by my friend's home in Welland (despite it being a 30 minute drive from his shop in Dunnville!!) to check out the bike and let me know what sort of work would be needed in order to Safety Check it. He called me from my friend's home and let me know what was needed (fortunately, just new rubber) and we made an appointment to bring the bike to his shop.

Now ask yourself ..... what type of business person DOES this?? A person who deserves YOUR business ...... that's who!! (Tell him Michael sent you.)

Clean and proper dealership. Kind and easy going staff. From what I have seen the bikes are priced appropriately and all stock is in good shape. Overall although I did not purchase a bike here I did not feel as I wasted a trip and will keep them on my radar.

I recently traded my bike for another, larger bike. The process was smooth and stress free. Dan and I corresponded mainly by email; I sent all necessary documents and Dan took care of licensing and all. At one point I did drive out to his shop (1.5 hrs from Toronto) to check out the bike. A couple of weeks later, Dan and his helper delivered the bike and picked up my trade in Toronto. Dan was professional and friendly throughout the process. I cannot comment on their service and repair skills; I also can’t comment on any other trades or bikes they have in stock. But my experience was outstanding; he gave me a quote via email and collected the full payment at delivery after I had made a deposit just to show my commitment earlier.
