Southward Community Park

Beautiful sports park! Very clean :) Well done with the water drainage on the fields, as it poured cats and dogs on our tournament weekend. The bathrooms were a bit of a mess but expected with the rainy weather. My only real complaint was with the parking. With a park that big, no one should be forced to park in the fire zone because there were not enough available spaces. Lots of tickets that weekend! Lol

One of the nicest community parks I’ve been to in the region. Very nice breathy spacious area. A few benches placed in really nice locations. Baseball, soccer, dog park. It’s pretty much got everything you need. What I love most is how quiet it is during the day, you’ve pretty much got the whole place to yourself. Everyone’s super friendly in the neighbourhood. There’s also a really cool trail that goes into the forest closer to the mountain. Definitely check it out. Tax money well spent.

Very spacious, open, and clean community park! There is also a dog park as well. There are picnic tables, benches, soccer fields and posts, trail to the forest, and a path for you to run. There are three sections for you to park but just no markings for parking. When I went, the red barn facility was locked but I saw a few workers in there.

Southward is a multi-purpose complex that houses two baseball/softball diamonds, a walking trail, a dog park, and several soccer fields of various sizes. They also have a club house available to rent for various functions. They also have a decent number of parking spaces for the various tournaments and events they hold there.
