I was a bit nervous bring my "babies" in to get some work done. I assumed that I was going to be taken advantage of. I was completely wrong! Brian took the time to discuss the repair options after he gave me a free quote. He made me feel very comfortable and seemed as excited about my guitar as I was. I am extremely satisfied with the work he did and will continue to bring my guitars to him.
Work done: Set up and crack repair on my Martin D-21, electronics repair and cleanup on my Ibanez bass.
Thanks again!
Great communication, great setup on my guitar. Will be taking all of my guitars to Brian from
now on. I have had my guitars setup all over North America in some of the biggest markets and they have not compared to this. I Highly recommended bringing your equipment here for anyone who needs a full setup or just the basics. Really great stuff!
I had Brian do a basic setup of my 13+ year old Jackson electric guitar and it turned out incredible! New strings, all frets and pickups adjusted as required, everything tightened up, Floyd-Rose floating bridge set up. Pretty well every part top to bottom was inspected, adjusted, and cleaned / polished. It looks and sounds better than the day I bought it over a decade ago. I will definitely be returning to Bird & Bee with my other guitars and having much more regular servicing done. Very professional and very affordable. If you've got a guitar that's gone more than a few years without some real service contact Brian and I suspect you'll be thrilled with the results.
Brian the owner of this business did an amazing job on my 1974 aria acoustic, he took two days to do a full review on the guitar and was very clear with explaining what should be done, it took a week for Brian to be finished repairing my guitar bridge and adding extra support as well as warping my guitar back to normal after 25 years of constant stress ,He went above and beyond making my guitar look and sound amazing again I was very impressed with how great of a job he did. I’m a 19 year old student and he was very fair with pricing and I would highly recommend going to him for any work on your guitars or instruments, he will treat your instrument with the same love and respect you do and I would highly recommend his work to anyone!
When I moved to Niagara I was in search of someone who I could trust to service and maintain my guitars. I tried some local shops, local ‘luthiers’, big box music shops all with varying degrees of success. However, even in the best case scenarios I never felt like I was getting the straight goods.
I ended up finding Brian, he was easy to talk to and best of all, he told me the good the bad the ugly, if something was good he didn’t tell me I needed something. He’s worked on my acoustics, finished up a custom build for me and worked on a Floyd. The pricing was always reasonable, but more importantly, he set expectations and stuck with it. If he said it was going to be done next Saturday, I was picking it up next Saturday. He always answered my questions without the condescending attitude you can find in some shops.
A+ in terms of service, at the end of the day isn’t that what we are looking for? Someone you can trust to work on our pride and joy?
