Well worth the wait for an intake date. The counselors and support staff all truly care about one's success in the program, they have been educated and some have had addiction experiences of their own. I would strongly recommend this place over private rehab facilities that aren't regulated. I attended "Stillwater " in welland and managed to stay 10 days. The quality and structure of Newport is superior over Stillwater, and you don't have to pay $12,000!
This place rocks. I was there in 2015 for a few weeks and they took care of me. It's best not to go there while still being under the influence. Thats what detox centers are for. The place is also a co-ed facility. Which is great, we are all human and mixing with males and females helps allot in recovery. Those who disagree know nothing.
