  A beautiful little park next to the Welland recreational waterway. Splash pad, washrooms, skateboard park, kayak rentals in summer, and a great swimming dock.

  This place is such a gem and it's completely free. The docs allow swimming and there's usually scuba divers here too. There is a place where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy the canal. Or you can just come down and fish.
  
  There is a skate park at the entrance and near the back there are Adirondack chairs under some beautiful trees close to the canal.
  
  There are 24-hour public washrooms.
  
  There is a walking/biking trail that is paved.
  
  I just can't say enough about this place. I've been doing the van life for the last 2 months. I started coming here a month ago and I stay overnight quite frequently and I've never had a problem.
  
  The people are friendly. The water is very clear and quite warm. Amazing place.

Splash pads are now open for the season and operating daily until the end of September (weather permitting), Welland's splash pads are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On days when heat alerts are issued, all splash pads remain open until 9 p.m.
