“Don’t walk, RUN TO BRUCE’S!!! I’ve lived in Wainfleet my whole life and have been a frequent flyer to the 2x4 for it’s many owners in the past years. When we walked in we were greeted right away by the new and AMAZING owner Kyle. His smile lit up the space and it was the Sunday morning welcome I was looking forward to! The place was packed, but we had no issues taking up two stools at the bar. Breakfast was fresh and absolutely delicious. Kyle came back to chat with us during our meal. I had the Mindful morning and my partner got the stuffed French toast. If you get a chance to have a conversation with this man, please do… what a breath of fresh air!! A graceful presence, someone who cares so much for what he is serving up and is shows! We will 1000% be making this our regular spot. Thanks for a lovely morning and great conversation. “All these negative reviews are not the reflection of the Doctor that I know. I have been seeing him for just over 2 years. I had previously been trying drug therapy, unsuccessfully, with my family doctor. After asking multiple times to see a specialist, I finally got one and I am impressed. My first visit was emotional. We went over my long history of symptoms, the medications I was trying and the most recent triggering event in my life that was sending me over the edge. I don't know why people feel like he doesn't care, because he has always asked me about how I'm doing, at home and with the people I work with. He is not a man of man words, but if you're honest with him about your symptoms, side effects and your medication habits, you will be put on medication that works eventually. It took many months and trying different things before I got a combination treatment plan that worked for me. I can tell you that for the first time in my life, I'm stable and my symptoms are very manageable most of the time. It's the best I've felt in atleast 15 years. THIS NEXT BIT IS IMPORTANT! Everyone's treatment is different. It's not a one size fits all and it doesn't happen over night. He's not a counselor so if you're looking to just talk about your problems, then you want to see a psychologist (or counselor) and not a psychiatrist (a doctor that specializes in mental health medication). You have to pay to see a psychologist because they are not covered under OHIP. He and his secretary have a list of free public health counselors to see if you need the emotional therapy to use in conjunction with your medication therapy. Just a heads up, that because it's public health program, there are wait lists. That's not the Doctor's or his secretary's fault, it's an issue with the public health system itself. I am very thankful to have him as my Doctor.”

“I would love to stay at this hotel again, without a doubt. Even though it's only a two-star hotel, I'd choose it over a four-star one any day. The room was spotlessly clean, with a bright and inviting colour scheme. Checking in was a breeze, even without any human interaction - I just called Phill at the front desk to get the password, and then picked up my room key. Checking out was just as easy - I just had to drop the key in the box. Perhaps it was because we came during the off-season, but the hotel was very peaceful and the sunlight was plentiful. I felt right at home after checking in. They provided everything I needed and made my stay comfortable and convenient.”

“These guys are the best! My 3 month old roof was leaking, and I called them Sunday morning, and they were here first thing Monday morning (and I'm in Hamilton). They broke up the ice dams quickly and stopped it from leaking. They also took pictures of the mistakes the roofers made and sent me a detailed report outlining the problem areas, and what should have been done properly. Not to mention, I had a follow-up call the day after they did the work to ensure I still didn't have any problems. Their genuine concern for their customers, paired with great communication and flexibility, make these guys my new go-to for any other work in the future.”
