“What a beautiful place to get away for the day and be immersed in nature. The trails are nice and wide, and relatively flat so most could enjoy it without concern for great technicality. Just an easy amble through the woods. The path markers were very clear, and none of the trails were particularly long. This time of your everything is covered in a soft bed of moss. I highly recommend going while it is raining or shortly after. The dense canopy above immerses you in its colour, and song. It was very busy, but you can pace yourself to wait 10 minutes in between each person's start time, that way it feels like you're secluded. Can't believe I've never been! Well worth the drive :)”

“5 stars are not enough to describe this place. Greeted upon our arrival by Ron and Lynn. Very warm and welcoming from the start. Full of information about the islands history and so much more. The cottage was spotless when we walked in. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Awesome shower pressure!!! The back deck is a hidden gem. The sounds of day, plenty of birds to watch and listen to. At night the fire flies crickets among other insects was amazing. The Deck across the road to gaze across lake Erie was a spectacle in itself as each night the Sun and lake gave an amazing show of colour and wildlife. As this trip happened during COVID the island was very quiet. So it was a perfect escape from the hustle n bustle of everyday Toronto. The beaches are amazing the water clean. Would we be back? In a second!! If you haven't been to Pelee Island put it on your list. Thank you so much Lynn and Ron for an amazing Stay, the garlic and tomatoes are outstanding!! Will for sure see you again in the future!!”

“Great location and walking distance to the falls and attractions! Includes FREE parking! Ms. Suzie, the owner, is very friendly and caring. Her home is clean and beds are comfortable. She prepared a wonderful organic breakfast (juice, assortment of fresh fruits, assortment of breads, eggs -cooked to order, bacon, hash browns, sliced tomatoes and coffee). It was more than we could eat and she even offered for us to take some fruit along with us for our day trips. The best part of our day was breakfast on the patio overlooking her lovely flower garden and the Niagara gorge. She even took time to join in our conversation at breakfast. Our family highly recommends a stay with Suzie vs the overpriced hotels that tack on additional outrageous parking fees. “We celebrated Anniversaries as a family. We rented the full house and it was a great experience. The Somerset House is beautiful & our host Darren was very welcoming. Darren made sure that we had all that we needed. The meals were amazing. I would highly recommend the Somerset House. It is very elegant, first class service. “I have camped all across Canada and have to say this is one of the best places I've stayed. A very friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained grounds and immaculate bathrooms and showers. Good water and power and we had a perfectly level site with lovely willow trees and grass. Excellent lake near by for kayaking. Llts of nearby hiking trails. And even a village with "upscale" shops nearby if you like. Highly recommended and we plan on returning soon.”

“This place was very accommodating and their office was open when I showed up late afternoon (surprised other places weren't). Wonderful staff that were helpful and very friendly. They even gave recommendations. Rooms were nice and clean - older building as I expected it to be, but they've modernized the tv which I haven't seen in more expensive places. I didnt try the jacuzzi but I should've. The stay was well worth my money.”
