“The staff was amazing!!! Rick allowed us to have a nice late check out and leave our car parked while we walked to the falls. It was located great to walk everywhere. They even walked us to our room and showed us how to use the air and lights. Definitely no frills. But a larger refrigerator is a must for me as I travel with my own food. And the kindness and welcoming feel we had was lovely!!!”

“This was truly an amazing home. It felt as though we were on a Caribbean island instead of being in Ontario. This impeccably decorated house was stocked with everything we needed. The dishes, glasses, platters, cooking equipment were top notch. The bedrooms were decorated so well, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were gorgeous. The neighborhood was conveniently located and we were just steps away from the cute town that had shops, restaurants and bars. Darlene was fantastic and a great host and she was available throughout the entire process right up until after I checked out. She offered excellent recommendations about the area, restaurants, caterers, wellness ideas and things to do, etc. The house is stylish, clean and comfortable. I can't wait to book again for next year!”

“From start to finish our 2 night stay was perfect. Cathy and Steve were inviting and easy going. The place was spotless and the property was well manicured. Spectacular views and delicious food are what you'll expect to enjoy during your stay here. We mentioned perhaps having a fire in their firepit , and Steve had it ready to light ( unfortunately we were to zapped from winery/brewery tours to get to it.....sorry Steve!) Reasonable rates and plenty of common areas to spend time in too. Thanks for the popcorn too, Cathy!”

“An absolute pleasure to meet Philip who was a very kind and welcoming host. The location is top-notch, in a historic yet modern and renovated charming property with an incredible French classic decor. Incredibly clean and very very equipped. Delicious and charming breakfast. We really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thank you for everything. Ario”

“We are just heading home, from a perfect weekend at The Gathering Place. Bernie and Marg are perfect hosts who have clearly embraced the idea of greeting you as guests in a way that has you leaving as friends. The rooms were beautiful, and exceptionally clean. The bed comfortable and cozy. Peace and quiet while we slept and waking to bird call in the morning. Coffee greeted you as soon as you came downstairs. A wonderful and varied breakfast was served each day, that was as appealing to the eyes as it was delicious to the palate. A campfire awaited us each night looking out onto gorgeous sunsets. We can't wait to come back. By far our best B&B, and we have enjoyed many!”

“Cute, quirky, and with a massive grounds to walk around, this B&B was our first return to NotL after a Covid Hiatus, and it did not disappoint. Our hosts (Joyce and Doug) were both lovely as can be and they made our stay as comfortable as they could. Between the very clear instructions and brief tour of the establishment we quickly felt at home. The pool was indoor and at a nice temperature (84-85F) and walking around the gardens (while Doug cracked a joke or two) was a nice way to enjoy a glass of our recently purchased wines. The Turret Room was where we stayed (see pics) and it was almost like an Escher inspired bedroom with all of the off-angles and multi-level components. I would assume that some patrons would find the "room" confusing, however, some would love it, and I found myself in the latter. I wouldn't recommend this room for anyone over 6ft tall as you would likely bump your head multiple times on the angled ceilings, however, for anyone else shorter, and who may love a cozy nook to read or to chat and relax, this place screams of the type of room that would find itself in some sort of magical film. The king bed was large, slightly more firm than I was expecting (appreciated), and very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and well lit. Overall, I would definitely come back.”

“This motel has had a major turn around! Though some of the rooms are still dated the are slowly updating. For reason I can not get into, The owners and Manager have a heart of gold We had a very clean room and the service was outstanding!! The manager of the property ( I believe her name is Shirley) is salt of the earth. She offered to bring her personal fire pit so we could cook s'mores with my niece. She brought sparklers over for all the kids that were playing on the front lawn. How cool. We have not had better treatment at a 5 Star and we travel a lot. If we ever need a room in the Port Colborne area again we WILL be staying at Seaway.”

“Amazing B&B! We were so thrilled with this lovely home! We spent 4 nights here and would highly recommend Absolute Elegance B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay in Niagara Falls. The owners, Lynn and Ken, were wonderful hosts. Lynn spoiled us each morning with her amazing cooking skills and a delicious 3 course breakfast. We didn’t even need to eat lunch. The rooms were very comfortable- the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. We loved the jacuzzi tub! The back yard is like something out of a magazine - a garden with beautiful trees, flowers and a fountain. It was such a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at Absolute Elegance B&B if you are wanting a lovely place to stay for less than the hotels in the area. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!”

“Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend and I didn't feel like driving back to Toronto and decided to drop by the restaurant while in the area and since it was getting late we also got a room. Excellent value for the money. The room was recently renovated, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing, lots of choices. The owner of the place is a very nice guy and very accommodating. The staff at the restaurant very friendly and very welcoming. Check out this place if you're in the area. It'll be worth your time and money.”

“This was my second time at this resort. The cottage and common areas are well maintained and clean. Staff were super friendly and very helpful with a couple issues we encountered. The kids had a blast aswell as the adults. It's close enough to the Falls that you can easily escape to if you wish. I look forward to returning again next year.”

“If you're looking for a fantastic beachfront property to spend your vacation, or even for a longer getaway, look no further, you've found the right place. This all seasons property gives you all the privacy you need combined with close access to shopping, nature trails, historic sites, the marina, and of course the famous Port Colborne Lighthouses. Much of what you'll need is also within walking distance. Situated on a picturesque lot, all the views are spectacular. And you're in for a real treat watching the sun rise and set right in front of your eyes and from one of the comfortable chairs. And don't forget about Canal Days. A summer time tradition that falls over the August civic holiday long weekend. It's a celebration of the area and all it has to offer, with fun for the whole family. There are so many fun things to do. You may just find your own hidden treasure. The fishing is great too. So choose your dates, and pack your bags. You'll be welcomed home.”

“We just came back from a gateway weekend at the Coach House and it was an amazing experience. They have decorated and equipped the house with everything you might need. We did some groceries and were able to cook , relax and enjoy. The hot tub is the best thing ever. Everything was sparkling clean. If you are looking somewhere to go you won’t regret to book with Carl and Sherrie.”

“We found ourselves in the Niagara area on a spontaneous road trip during the grape and wine festival. We could not find a vacancy anywhere. At the last minute, we called Two Rivers based on their reviews, and they happened to have had a cancellation. We were not able to make it in by the check-in time but were told to come anytime before 9 pm, that it was no problem. It's a super cute B&B and the owners are the nicest people ever! They made us feel right at home and ensured we had everything we needed. We slept well, and the room was clean, comfortable, and we had our own private bathroom which is always appreciated in a B&B. There was an issue with not enough hot water in the morning, but the rest of the stay made up for that. We were up earlier than our scheduled breakfast time and went into the dining area to have coffee and tea, and they asked us if we'd like breakfast early, and we said yes. Within a few minutes, we had some of the best apple french toast I have ever had, as well as a huge plate of eggs, potatoes, ham, and a plate of fruit and toast with jam. They also had cereals and anything else you'd need for a great breakfast. After we left, we headed out to do some sightseeing, and I got a call from the owner letting me know I had left one of my rings in the bedroom. She called me as soon as she found it hoping we hadn't left the area. Luckily they are only a few minutes from the Falls, which is where we were. I would definitely recommend this B&B. The owners make it such a welcoming and comfortable experience, and the price can't be beaten.”

“Absolutely beautiful accommodations! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The owners have put so much thought and care into their gorgeous spaces, which were all certainly very zen! This is the perfect retreat for couples! The owners were very responsive to emails and accommodated our every need, including providing breakfast to go earlier than the usual breakfast hours. For anyone who is interested in birding, photography, nature, kayaking or canoeing, the location allows for very quick and easy access to the amazing Point Pelee National Park. We give the highest recommendation for this BNB and look forward to our next stay there!”

“For a cheap hotel, this is quite good. The downsides are that the beds are pretty hard and the decor could use an update (tiled walls?). The upsides are that it feels very safe - it is in a quiet neighbourhood and, although it is a motel style with separate exterior doors, to reach the exterior doors requires a key to access a locked staircase. The rooms themselves are clean and seem very well maintained. The view of the lock, while it could not be called beautiful, was neat. I did not realize massive barges pass through the locks and it was interesting to sit on the room’s private balcony with a coffee at sunrise to watch that happen. Best of all was the customer service though. I stayed here as a rest stop from hiking the Bruce Trail and the person who checked me in saw my gear and offered me mineral water, which was very thoughtful. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Would be 5/5 if the bed was a bit softer.”
