Kammer International Bilingual School - KIBS

My first son is now 8 years at KIBS since he is 14 month old. Now he is in the 3rd grade. Of course there has been discussions about some things but in the a solution was agreed. In the end what counts is: My son loves the KIBS and loves going to school! We have asked him many times if he would go on a public school but he wants to stay. He likes a lot the different offerings, smaller classes, the mordern infrastructure learning since the 1st grade coding and how to use an iPad.
Covid came along and KIBS had implemented SEASAW (online learning) since 1st grade. Home-learning and how to do homework alone, log themselfes into ZOOM-meetings, download and upload their excercises: NO PROBLEM AT ALL. Kids know what todo when - while most of the german public schools were overwhelmed taking month to place a learing concept.
Kids stay together the whole day, eat together and learn to accept other cultures. PHSE (Personal Health and Security Education) is a major subject and how to solve problems without being physical. We are registering out newborn for next year as well (further children cause discount for the before borns!) Alternative: International School is double/triple expensive - KIBS is the right place for starting early in the Kindergarden to learn 2 languages (ours 3 with Spanish) at the same time!
In the end my first born loves it, he wants to go to school and the great results count ! Nothing is perfect there will be always be some gap between expectation and delivery. But see, we are generally raising happy children and not stressed geniuses. Bilingual, responsible, open minded and tolerant kids that have the chance to participate at their own education plan.
Complaining about money is the wrong thing to do, see other countries you pay much more for less eduction... The full package is what counts and here KIBS is the place to be.
I could go on and on but I think you know that I am happy, that my son loves learning and going to school, hoping my second son will be the same! Lars Holstein

One thing is clear: every child is different. Not to mention the parents. Therefore, of course, there are also different approaches and ideas on the subject of education and school. We have decided to give our child the best possible education. We found that at KIBS.

Of course there are also very good public schools in Hanover. However, since the choice of school in Hanover primarily depends on where we live and the district school assigned to us was not an option, we decided on the KIBS private school. If you decide to go to a private school, then of course you should also be aware that it will cost something. So I think the reviews that complain about fees are pointless.

What do you get for your money at KIBS?
First and foremost TOP teachers! - Because in the end, that's all that matters. Motivated, very well trained, bilingual, with modern teaching approaches, interactive, individual and communicative. This is KIBS. need i say more
Of course, all this CAN also be done in public schools. But you can also end up with a frustrated, overwhelmed and bored teacher who is about to retire.

What else is there at KIBS?
Of course, modern equipment, small classes, exciting courses, many events/fairs/competitions, interactive learning, all-day school with lunch, no homework, incentive point systems, rewards for social commitment and much more.

Conclusion:
The KIBS simply works very well for our child. It may not be the case for others, but we are very satisfied.
And how can you easily check that? Ask the child directly! Our child loves going to school, thinks his teacher is great, has a lot of fun learning and in the end rewards himself with great achievements.

Anyone looking for something like this should take a closer look at the KIBS. ;-)

After mother the teachers. So we are going our long way in our education life. This school offers and teaches my son with the best teachers in town. Thanks. KIBS is today one of the leading schools in Hannover, especially in bilingual education.
Update; my son is now in the 8 th class, the school has developed, many things are much better.

Our children have been attending KIBS since the school was founded - with mostly positive experiences!!!
The school always has a good hand when it comes to selecting teachers: they are very motivated, bring lots of good ideas and are always open to finding individual ways of dealing with the diversity of the children.
Particular value is placed on the children's strengths and on their developing into self-confident young people who dare to do anything.
Communication between parents and teachers takes place quickly and always for the benefit of the child. Parents at KIBS are also very committed and a pleasant mix.
But the most important thing is that our children love going to KIBS, think their teachers are "cool" and learn a lot along the way!

An excellent school with a welcoming atmosphere and committed staff. The children are attentive and eager to learn.
