“We joined Berlin Bilingual school because it was close by and bilingual. As a German-American family, that was our highest priority. We liked that the school was started by parents and we found the educational concept to fit well with our own philosophy: education centered on individual learning, mixed grades in 1-4, equal learning in German and English with teachers working as a team, truly bilingual staff and educators (Erzieher) integrated in the classroom. Also the full-day school with lots of activity opportunities was important to us. What we hadn't expected was the vibrant community of like-minded families that are part of the school community. Parents are an integral part of activities and events and welcomed us right in. This was a unexpected surprise and a benefit of the school we now couldn't imagine being without. With one child having moved on to BBS secondary and a second heading through primary, we see the advantages of continuity in being part of this school. BBS kids are a uniquely self-aware, globally-oriented, and inclusive bunch. We love being part of this school and seeing our kids growing into fully formed, creative and empathic humans guided by BBS teachers and staff.”

“Thank you for a great Open Day! We really like the school at all and could see the daytime routine. It's clearly an advantage for all kids to get the chance to talk in two languages as of beginning of their journey. Keep up like this. #favorite👍”

“My first son is now 8 years at KIBS since he is 14 month old. Now he is in the 3rd grade. Of course there has been discussions about some things but in the a solution was agreed. In the end what counts is: My son loves the KIBS and loves going to school! We have asked him many times if he would go on a public school but he wants to stay. He likes a lot the different offerings, smaller classes, the mordern infrastructure learning since the 1st grade coding and how to use an iPad. Covid came along and KIBS had implemented SEASAW (online learning) since 1st grade. Home-learning and how to do homework alone, log themselfes into ZOOM-meetings, download and upload their excercises: NO PROBLEM AT ALL. Kids know what todo when - while most of the german public schools were overwhelmed taking month to place a learing concept. Kids stay together the whole day, eat together and learn to accept other cultures. PHSE (Personal Health and Security Education) is a major subject and how to solve problems without being physical. We are registering out newborn for next year as well (further children cause discount for the before borns!) Alternative: International School is double/triple expensive - KIBS is the right place for starting early in the Kindergarden to learn 2 languages (ours 3 with Spanish) at the same time! In the end my first born loves it, he wants to go to school and the great results count ! Nothing is perfect there will be always be some gap between expectation and delivery. But see, we are generally raising happy children and not stressed geniuses. Bilingual, responsible, open minded and tolerant kids that have the chance to participate at their own education plan. Complaining about money is the wrong thing to do, see other countries you pay much more for less eduction... The full package is what counts and here KIBS is the place to be. I could go on and on but I think you know that I am happy, that my son loves learning and going to school, hoping my second son will be the same! Lars Holstein”

“Very nice school, I studied the German language there for almost 6 months. At the end I was able to get my B1 certificates which was the start of my successful Business career here in Germany. As an IT consultant it was really important for me not just to learn the basic German words (Basic communication). I had to learn & improve also my German language skills in terms of professional Business communication. They have there some courses which allow you to improve your skills based on your demands or based on which field are you working in.I wish I had the time to continue my studies there to get my B2 & C1 certificates, but with B1 my German was good enough to be self independent in my career. Ps: I would highly recommend the intensive course (6-8 hours a day)”

“Love this school! Love the Teachers and staff! We had two of our children at Dublin Montessori before having to move out of state. We have struggled to find another Montessori school that even compared to this one (and we are in a large city). This is what I miss the most: The Director, Mrs. Roshon, is one in a million. The teachers are dedicated, kind, patient and professional. The facility is bright, clean and everything a Montessori school should be. I loved being able to come in any time and watch my sons as they worked through the observation window. I also loved the pick up and drop off routine. The teachers actually come out and help your child in or out of the car. It doesn't seem like a big deal but to a mom that has other small children it is a big convenience to not have to unload everyone and walk them all inside to drop off one or two children (especially nice in the winter). I was constantly amazed by what my children were learning and the levels they were achieving. If you want to give your child an advantage put them in Dublin Montessori.”
