Visited here on our vacation. The atmosphere is lively. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. The menu was in English and Spanish. I didn't realize my filet came with aushroom gravy, but it didn't ruin my meal. Lobsters are not all the same size but for $20 they were fantastic.

My wife and I took a trip to Mexico to go on a day eating expedition. On our way to Puerto Nuevo, we spotted Ruben's and decided to give it a try. We took a look at the menu and found the prices to be extremely reasonable for what they were selling. The food is fresh and top-notch. The environment will remind you a little bit of the United States. You could tell a lot of the Gringos that live in and visit Mexico frequent this place. My wife had shrimp and octopus and I have the Beef Wellington. Both tasted amazing. Their soups are some of the best versions I have had as well. The clam chowder was buttery and delicious! The restaurant had a fun Buzz as the clients seem to enjoy themselves.
We will definitely make it a point to visit them again next time we are in that part of Mexico.
