“We've been coming here for decades and they don't disappoint. They seem to be renovating often, so perhaps they have large plans. The mini petting zoo has been rebuilt into a fabulous larger "mini" petting zoo. The indoor pool (Raging waters) has been totally refurbished, heated, and is great for kids. The outdoor kids playground is epic. The tennis and basketball courts are clean. The outdoor pool is a bit chilly most of the year, but it's clean and the kids don't mind. The hot tub is great. The design and architecture of the outdoor pool area and surrounding rooms minimizes wind and makes for a very comfortable sitting area. The check in/out process is smoother than silk. The front desk is pleasant to talk to. The list of rules is short and easy to work with. The Villas are old, but classic, just like Baja.”

“Súper rico. Las tortillas enormes. Loved this place, the hacienda looks like a four-story house, it’s right on the corner of the Puerto Nuevo Malecón, and it’s really really great views of the ocean line, there are several Ortega‘s but I think this is the main one in my family loves going to this over many many years and the tourism is super cute and there’s lots of lots of souvenirs you can buy that are custom to Mexican culture, but this place is pretty unique because of the stairwell it’s like really really spirally and beautiful and if you have bad knees don’t go upstairs it’s kind of hard on the knees but it’s otherwise pretty cool they have some really cute antiques there this Newport cigarette old dispenser that’s antique they have this really cool old record player, and lots of really cool relics, but the food was pretty good I thought that the lobster was a little dry, but it was delicious overall and it was traditionally made up as the typical Porto-Novo and they had lemon which was wonderful my uncle had the ceviche and that looked amazing we also had the queso fun Dedo which was delicious, the waitress was a little clumsy and she kind of spilled a lot of things and she wasn’t really wearing a mask and she was sort of ditzy but we still tipped her $20, and they have this station downstairs where they made these homemade flour tortillas that were like larger than the size of your arm it was just so amazing the tortillas are like 2 feet wide just so amazing delicious and great presentation”

“Been here a few times its my wife's place she likes. It was okay nothing special. Was not bad either. The lobsters i wish were just a bit more meaty. Service was good. Never felt like i had go find someone. But then again we were the only ones there. Would I go back yes. I also understand due to this BS. ( lying a.. Government and wicked men) pandemic not everything is functioning as it used to be.”

“Arriving to the resort, the staff were welcoming and friendly. We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in and the room was ready. The rooms were nice and neat. The staff went out of their way to tell us if we ever needed anything they were just a call away or at the front desk. I recommend this place!”
