Cute place with quite some space and actually many animals. Many animals are there to be petted and others are caged.
Really nice coffee (real machine not some water boiler) for parents.

Good place for the kids to learn about the farm animals. There is also a playground for the kids with lots of activities to choose from. At the small cafe next to the playground they sell ice cream and fresh food for lunch.
Parking is possible for free at the nearby car park.

Used to take my sons there 30 years ago and now it's my granddaughter's turn. Although the building area has doubled in size it still retains its authenticity and charm. Can get very busy at weekends, but a great place to go if you have young kids.

There was a kind of Insect Festival at the Speelboerderij! Bees buzzed everywhere and you could buy home-made jams, wine, and snacks. I watched a woman spin wool into yarn! Someone brought Giant African Snails! There activities for kids, and of course the playgrounds were open. There seems to be new pens for fancy chickens and turkeys. The goats were in their barn, so they could still be appreciated and stroked. I love this place, and this fair was very nice.
