Toko Dun Yong

This Asian food store has a wide variety of ingredients. Especially for Thai and Chinese cuisine this is the best place to go. They have fresh, bottled, and frozen ingredients. On the upper floors you can also find authentic bowls, steambaskets, and other kinds of porcelain. On the top floor there is also a lunch room with really good ramen.

The place in Amsterdam city center for Asian products, produce, frozen goods. and kitchen tools. Great selection and standard prices, can definitely recommend.

Jackpot! 4 floors of East Asian food things, frozen foods, snacks, sauces, veggies, ceramics, AND a great little restaurant at the top. Small menu, but all great choices (however avoid seafood noodles - the sea food is frozen and maybe not great quality, the server seemed very against it. she recommended the other dishes much more). I had the tan tan ramen it was spicy and slightly too salty (especially the meat) but overall delicious :)

Toko Dun Yong is 5 floors big! On the ground floor you will find all the Asian food you could wish for. On the 2nd floor oriental art, statues, Chinese gifts, Buddhas, lanterns, games, calligraphy and kitsch. On the 3th floor, you will find kitchen items. Rice cookers, fondue pans, steam baskets, woks, mortars and chopsticks. On the 4th floor you will find Asian crockery. A huge choice of bowls, tea sets, plates and sake sets. On the 5th floor you can have lunch with Ramen, Udon noodles, dim sum or other snacks. You can wander around for hours in this shop! They even have an elevator.

One of the best known Oriental supermarkeets in the capital. It can be quite crowded as the store itself is compact and the isles are narrow. However it's always a pleasure to do grocery here: a wide range of Asian goodies at competitive prices including fresh produce and imported condiments. Very friendly owners/staff!
