  Avoid Room 141! I understand local buildings being narrow and the Dutch stairs concept but i got room 141 and it was ridiculous. A corner of a corner room after two small stairs and corners and imposible access, imagine down with ur luggage. At least they need to offer a discount in this one. Room was quiet but felt weird. Hotel is ok but nothing amazing. Breakfast really limited and average. A bit dissapointed.

  Nice hotel overall. It is a heritage building offering beautiful character and yes the hallways are tiny so if you have lots of luggage it's a bit of a workout. My room and bathroom were very modern and clean.
  
  I was located on an upper floor at the end of the hall so couldn't hear other guests. The room offered nice views of the cute neighbourhood and the bed was comfortable.
  
  Hotel is close to great coffee, several tram lines and Vondelpark but still offers peace and quiet.
  
  I thought it was good value even with the city tax.
