One of the museum that I learned about history related to wars and weapons of Nederlands. I spent the time going around the exhibits and rides. Sad to see that they are charging for rides , but it is justifiable. It has good cafeteria and restaurant. I tried cold fudge coffee
The museum has huge collection of weapons, military aircrafts, tanks, and other vehicles. It it's located inside modern building and on the nearby air field. There are original V1 and V2 rockets, F16, Leopard 1 and 2 among the other gems. There many interactive activities for children to learn history. If you're history fun, reserve 4-5 hours to visit. There are 2 cafeterias. The outside playgrounds for children including small pool with water.
This is an Dutch Military museum, and it is an classic for tank-lovers. Here you can see the beautiful, but very dangerous tanks from close distance. All of these military stuff and vehicles are used by the Dutch army, of foreign origin, and edited by the Dutch to their own requirements. Some of these tanks are from German origin, some from French, Brutish or American origin. All the tanks in this museum are no longer in use by the Dutch army, because of better versions. Also airplanes get better and better, and that's why there are a lot different airplanes, developed over the years. This museum has also a lot of military clothes, used by the Dutch around the 13th century. In this museum you can see the beauty of the military history of the Netherlands. I would gladly recommend this for everyone who is interested in the military history!
Excellent museum. Well laid out exhibits and displays Something for all ages Didn't try the cafe or walk around the grounds as I was on a tight timescale trying to squeeze as much in as I could. Approx £15 entrance and ample parking. Staff helpful and informative
Very nice even for little kids as they have a great play zone for kids in the middle. Good clean toilet facilities. They have a nice restaurant. No bags allowed inside. Spacious parking places
