Chocolatería San Ginés

A must place to visit in the heart of Madrid for their famous Churros with chocolate! No dinner is complete without this dessert! It’s worth the wait! The staff are always friendly and the place is super clean… It’s not a huge place so you might be close to or even share a table with strangers… but that’s part of the experience!

Order and pay first at the counter, then give the waiter or waitress your order ticket, then go find a seat. I was there on a Monday evening after dinner, it was super efficient! Love the fresh squeezed orange juice!! The churros are really crispy; the chocolate sauce was very hot; too powdery for my taste. Still a good try in Madrid if you are in the mood for desserts !

It was very busy at 6 pm on a Saturday evening. And they are open 24x7…. And apparently busy all the time!

Definitely lived up to expectations… though I think we ordered too much! One portion of churros with chocolate would have been enough!

A must try when in Madrid!

Amazing place. I stopped here by accident and didn't know it was so famous. Chocolate is amazing even I am not really chocolate lover ☺️. Don’t forget to try fresh Spanish orange juice. I recommend eating outside to get the full experience. Definitely a place we will remember. Truly Spanish .

Mist visit iconic place in Madrid, it’s no doubt a tourist spot, but a good one!

It was very crowded, long queue during our visit. But the speed of service is impressive.
