A trip to Spain is not complete without the Flamenco experience. This theater was cozy with a reasonable size stage and the performances were very intense and authentic.
Best not to go there by car and stay with other transport as parking is very challenging to find even in paid parking garages.
Enjoyed the performances and would recommend them highly.
The ticket included a drink, and I chose a sangria. The performance was powerful and everything I’d hoped for. It was a bit touristy, but honestly, you might as well embrace being a tourist while you are one!
I was expecting it to be a real tourist trap and not feel like a real flamenco but it was very good . The theatre isn't so big and although doesn't have the Tablao feeling it's still a great atmosphere . The show is very good with plenty of both male and female dancers . One of the guys voices was really great . A real gypsy sounding voice . So yes overall a great show for everyone . The theatre staff were great and accommodated my disabled auntie with a wheel chair without any fuss . You get a free drink with your entry ticket which is good too .
We decided to experience local culture by attending a live Flamenco show for the very first time during our first visit to Madrid. We purchased premium tickets for the 19:00 show, which cost us 49 Euros per person, including a drink.
Theater hall was small, and despite weekday, it was crowded.
Our seats were in the first row, giving us a fantastic view of the performers. We couldn't help but capture the mesmerizing moments on video and took plenty of photos to remember the night. The show was absolutely fantastic, and we had a lovely time watching it for an entire hour.
The Flamenco show was such a highlight of our trip that I firmly believe it should be at the top of anyone's 'To Do' list when visiting Madrid. We enjoyed every moment of it.
Wow what a beautiful show!! I first went to a flamenco show in a small theater in Sevilla which I think was a great introduction to flamenco but this show was spectacular! Everything is so well thought out from the costumes to the music to the fog and lighting. You can really see that passion for the art is in every aspect of the show. However, I was often distracted during the performance. People were allowed late entry which flooded the theater with light from the street, 15 minutes into the show. As an often late person myself, I appreciate letting people in who are a tad behind but maybe try finding a way to let less light in would be appreciated. Similarly, at the past show I went to, photos and videos were not allowed, but here they were which I also found distracting from the art. Flash isn’t allowed of course but many people use it accidentally and again, it distracting the magnificent artistry of the performance. At a different show I went to, they o my allowed photos and videos at the end which allows for people to create memories and enjoy the show more presently which may be a good rule of thumb to use here. Again, absolutely stunning performances. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for flamenco in Madrid!!
