(December 9, 2018, 12:05 pm)Our group enjoyed such a great meal last week at the pub. There were 14 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff were so nice and helpful. We had a room to ourselves which was also nice as we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone else. Really great all round.
(November 30, 2018, 3:48 pm)We had a wedding reception for twenty six people at the Anchor Inn, Hartfield early November 2018. This was a lunch time party starting at midday and finishing when the last guest departed. We have absolutely no negative comments to make. The attention to detail was absolute stunning from start to finish. Six days before our marriage we met Johnnie the chef, and Kate, who oversees functions at the pub, and decided on our menu, wines, table layout etc, and the atmosphere we wanted to create. Both Johnnie and Kate and their team did a fabulous job from start to finish with so many little personal touches, too many to list here. The party was loud and great fun and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you so much from both Natalie and me.

(August 26, 2018, 9:55 am)Very nice food and large portions so a good appetite is required. Be prepared to wait when busy. Staff are very helpful and free parking outside.
