(November 17, 2018, 6:59 am)Very decent food. This restaurant has gone through phases of being good and bad through different owernership, I feel like now it is Anwar's it is at a good level. I usually take the food away as I live local but it looks nice inside and everyone is always very polite.

(October 5, 2018, 3:12 am)Decided to opt for an Indian meal whilst staying nearby at Down Hall. So glad we made this decision as the meal was perfect and the service courteous and professional. I ordered a staple on the menu (a balti) and was delighted with the quality and presentation. The son of the owner (who was the chef) told us they had taken over from previous owners in the past year. We shall certainly pay a return visit when we revisit the area.
(September 13, 2018, 4:00 am)Had an excellent early evening meal here while travelling through the area. Had found it on line first. Great veggie options, really nice staff and.....possibly the best onion bhaji I've had.
