(December 13, 2018, 3:31 pm)We took our little one on the Santa Special and we were very impressed with everything. The staff are helpful and very friendly, everything ran on time and the ambience was lovely with people playing brass Christmassy music, it all felt very festive! We were particularly impressed by the Santa, who was very authentic - not a fake beard in sight! Topped off with complimentary mulled wine and a mince pie it was a lovely outing - we'll definitely be back next year!
(December 11, 2018, 2:32 pm)An absolutely brilliant day last Sunday on the Santa Special. Our two grandchildren had a wonderful time as did the adults. Such fun and so much care and attention to detail by all concerned. Would recommend it to anyone with children. Well done and we will be back i'm sure.
(September 29, 2018, 10:25 am)Lovely day on the train and buses even with our dog with us with water bowls all over. All very hephelp friendly and welcoming.

(September 7, 2018, 9:11 am)I went on last Sunday and was totally enamoured by the whole experience!!! Got the bus from Epping station which was brilliant and brought me to the trains! The railcar and steam journeys were fantastic!!! Staff could not have been more fun and knowledgeable. It is well worth a visit and I will be back!!!!
(September 3, 2018, 3:44 am)Took our soon to be 4 year old on this yesterday and he loved it! He loves trains anyway so was perfect...coming here is like taking a step back in time. It was also the classic car rally at North Weald which our son enjoyed...we took the bus back and apart from a little confusion where the driver went past Ongar station was not able to ruin a really enjoyable day out.
