Great fun for the young adventure seekers that are toddler to probably 7 years to find all the characters.
Free, but you have to pay for the car park. Shame you have to prepay as you can't tell how long this will take. Allow 2 hours if you stop for a picnic otherwise you can be around the trail in 20 minutes. The characters are static and some can be climbed on with care or in our case, given lots of cwtches!
Kids had loads of fun ????
Absolutely amazing trip with my class to the gruffalo forest. We had a guide (Michelle) who was inspiring, creative and such a natural with the children. Lovely experience for children of all ages!
Great day out for toddlers into Gruffallo and all the characters. Exploring the woods, lots of squirrels, pigeons, crows and wonderful woodland esp. Fall time. Have some wellies for the Mud when it is wet. All in all, all out non stop family fun for the youngsters esp.
Lovely family day out,not to long, smiles all around, fun finding the characters for both children and adults! The coffee and hot chocolate were not to bad either. Yes you have to pay for parking but that's to be expected....all in all a cost effective and fun family day out!????
Love this place! My daughter adores the Julia Donaldson books, so as a free thing to do this really is great. The kids love searching for the different characters and it really is a lovely woods to walk around.
They have just a built a bigger car park, so there are not so many problems getting parked as there were before and there is an alright cafe to get a cup of tea and cake after your walk
