(December 5, 2018, 7:34 am)Our favourite place to eat! Highly recommend it. Staff are absolutely fantastic, and today, I had THE best food I've ever had (crispy beef salad) - I can't say this enough - it was incredibly delicious and I shall definitely be ordering this again. We live an hour's drive away but have gone back so many times now, it might be worth moving house to make it more convenient! Haha! Excellent selection on the menu, a comfortable venue too. I do think what makes this place, apart from the wonderful food, is the staff. Highly professional, knowledgeable about the ingredients, very friendly and attentive. Well done to all! Always an enjoyable experience.
Update: I'm not sure why, but the menu was changed, and we ended up not going any more as we didn't like the new menu very much at all. The four stars is for the staff, who were always great, but why, oh why, did they change such a great menu? The new one is more expensive, and less of a choice. The decor used to be nice, with cosy little nooks to hide away in, but they've opened up the area which is lighter, but is less discreet. I think I preferred it the way it was before the changes, but it's still a good place, but we won't be going any more sadly.

(October 23, 2018, 10:05 am)The food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed goat cheese fritters, fish and chips, a salad, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The staff was fast and friendly. I had a great time there as an American visiting the UK.
(September 30, 2018, 4:50 pm)Went with Wife, Daughter and Father in Law for Sunday lunch. Nice selection of beers. Fast & friendly service. Good sized well cooked portions. Well worth a visit. We will be back.
